Nobody Does It Better: How Serge Aurier Stood Out Against West Ham|video

By The Boy -

It’s official, nobody gives the ball away with greater frequency than Tottenham Hotspur’s star man, Serge Aurier. Only 3 days ago, we looked at the 3 occasions Aurier set up Manchester United for complimentary shots on the Spurs’ goal. The word “mindless” was used.

This time around, the Ivorian only set up one shot on goal for our opponents, but he also gave the ball away 14 times, more than any other Spurs player.

Here is a montage of 4 losses, I didn’t see the point in presenting the other 10…

Lighten up ffs! I was referring to Serge’s little homophobia incident
back in France just to take the pi$$ out of him…

What has bigotry based on sexuality got to do with politics?
It’s like saying he doesn’t like stamp collectors or something…

I refer the honourable gentleman to the answer I gave in his last blog.

He wasn’t even that cheap, £23million, that should
buy you a competent full back who can defend and attack. Andy Robertson cost Liverpool £8 million. But unless somebody wants him we’re stuck with him because like Toby Levy thinks it’s too expensive to replace him. I believe that the flaws that we all can see in Aurier were on show at PSG and yet he was signed anyway. Unbelievable.

You write a decent post/argument then you let it down by using the word “homophobic” Jesus stick to football and not politics.

Wet Spam indoors in their form and post lockdown had to be the easiest game of the season so far.
I’m not having all this “he’s alright going forward” claptrap either. He’s yet another budget Ligue 1 punt from Levy.

He’s a liability defensively and even not defensively, but as ever with Levy Serge’s Spurs career, like so many others
will be prolonged unnecessarily by our esteemed chairman’s dithering, penny pinching, lack of action and ambition.

Serge is the physical embodiment of Levy’s lack of anything meaningful when it comes to ambition on the pitch.
Again, not really the homophobic Ivorian’s fault that he’s not good enough for Spurs, just the man who went looking
for a cheap option in France…

ENIC OUT.
