“Next one” – Fabrizio Romano reveals who Spurs will sign next in exciting update

By Mehdi Gokal -

According to renowned Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham Hotspur’s next signing is set to be a center-back.

The English club, under new manager Ange Postecoglou, have already made three notable signings this summer.

Dejan Kulusevski was their first signing, as he returned to Spurs from Juventus, securing a permanent deal with the club.

This was swiftly followed by the signing of Guglielmo Vicario, the former Empoli goalkeeper, who is said to be replacing Hugo Lloris.

The latest addition to the Tottenham squad is James Maddison, who joined the club for a fee of £40 million, making him one of the standout signings of the summer.

In addition to these acquisitions, Tottenham are expected to reinforce their defense by signing a couple of center-backs.

Speculation has linked them with Micky van de Ven and Edmond Tapsoba, both of whom are highly regarded in their positions.

Furthermore, Tottenham have been linked with a potential double signing from Galatasaray, namely Nicolo Zaniolo and Victor Nelsson.

Reports suggest that the Turkish club’s vice president is in London and engaged in fresh talks with Spurs.

While they are asking for €60m, Tottenham have offered them a combination of players and a sum of €30-35 million in exchange for the duo.

Despite these transfer speculations, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Tottenham’s next signing will indeed be a center-back.

Romano shared this information through a comment on Instagram, indicating that the club’s focus remains on fortifying their defensive line.

If Tottenham can also convince their star striker, Harry Kane, to stay for another year, it would undoubtedly be a significant boost for the team Postecoglou is building.

The summer transfer window is shaping up to be an exciting one for Spurs, and fans can anticipate promising developments within the squad.
