Ronnie Reng is a respected German journalist and published author of numerous football books. Here, Reng is featured here on an Athletic podcast, sharing his thoughts on Julian Naglesmann’s next club.
Who is Ronnie Reng? At a rough guess, someone who knows more than you and I do.
I take a view that some fans’ belief that anyone is desperate to manage Tottenham right now is entirely misplaced. No money to spend, an ageing squad that’s thrown one manager under the bus and are in the process of hurling the current one in the same direction?
I think he will go to Bayern.
We will have Scotty P and Ledley as assistant.
No manager with an ounce of self respect will come to Spurs. There’s no USP that would entice such a manager.
This appointment was sh*t or bust for Levy, and at the moment its bust…where to go from here..its not just the football this has affected its the brand…no more “big club” Daniel. Any sponsorship/naming rights will come from the events possibility’s now and not the status of Spurs as a big team….he really has rinsed the fans…..
It’s ‘the house that Daniel built’….
Not to worry, I’m sure the appointment of a manager with the acumen of Hasenhuttl, Potter or Parker will convince Harry and Son to stay!
