Multiple fans urge Spurs to sign Mourinho-admired star man after Norwich vs Leicester

By Rob S -

Norwich City won for the first time in five Premier League games on Friday night and a former Tottenham transfer target was one of the stars of the show.

Max Aarons, who The Sun claimed in January was on Jose Mourinho’s watch list, claimed his first assist of the season to set up a fine winner for fellow full-back Jamal Lewis.

Aarons, 20, is known for his attacking ability, having been a key man in Norwich’s promotion campaign in the Championship last season. He has struggled to be as effective going forward this term, with Norwich unable to dominate games in the top flight. But he showed on Friday that he still has plenty of offensive potential.

It was perhaps his defensive display which was even more impressive though, as he kept the likes of Harvey Barnes and James Maddison in check – making three tackles, two clearances and one block in the process.

And his fine display did not go unnoticed among the Spurs community, with multiple fans taking to Twitter to urge the club to get him to N17 in the summer.

Leciester’s loss means Spurs can close the gap on the third-placed Foxes to just seven points by beating Wolves on Sunday.

We need Cantwell from Norwich, not just Aarons.

Wolves, all of them straight swap coach and all. Sexy Football, hope we beat them though. Harry’s the new Bale, great when he’s not Fkd but Fkd when he’s not great.

Not at all.If they had Harry up front they wouldn’t be in a relegation fight.

Is it bad that I look at Norwich and would like nearly half their starting line up at spurs?
