Football Insider claims that Jose Mourinho might offload as many as seven first-team players from his squad before the transfer window closes on Monday.
The Special One has been backed heavily in this transfer window, signing the likes of Matt Doherty, Joe Hart, Gareth Bale and Carlos Vinicius.
After losing Jan Vertoghen, who left the club on the expiry of his contract, the Portuguese manager still wants to sign a new centre-back and the club has made Milan Skriniar their top target.
The report claims that Spurs have given Mourinho the green light to sell the members of his first-team that he can do without.
The club is prepared to listen to offers for Juan Foyth, Serge Aurier, Danny Rose, Cameron Carter-Vickers and back-up goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga.
Ryan Sessegnon and Rayan Clarke are also not part of the manager’s plans for the season and they have been made available for loan moves.
The club is currently negotiating with Villarreal over the transfer of Foyth, who is expected to join the Spanish side on loan, with a view to a permanent transfer.
Rose has been frozen out of the first team and told to find a new team, while Aurier has rejected a move to Spartak Moscow, but the club is still hopeful that they will be sold.
Asking Spurs to get rid of 7 players in under 3 days is a lot to ask. We all want it to happen, but getting rid of dead wood is very hard, especially if they are overpriced. As much as I would want Aurier out of the club, having Tanganga as the only back up to Doherty is not ideal. Lots of conjecture but can Levy and his stooge Hitchens clear them all out? Here’s hoping.
Leave him alone now I reckon. Stupid khunts still gonna be banging on about past net spends, saha and fkin nelson.
This probably isn’t the window to criticise Levy too much agreed Tappa
Bla bla bla crap. Good. I’m fkin glad he’s like that.
You’re forgetting our chairman is Daniel Levy. He’d want at least £150m with add-ons & a 50% future sell on fee & for all buying clubs to accept liability for 10% of our stadium debt. 🤣
😂
Can’t Fulham just buy the job lot for £40 million and we’ll call it a deal
