José Mourinho Might Get To Offload Frustrating 23-Year-Old This Summer

Mundo Deportivo believe that Barcelona are could be keen to rescue Tanguy NDombele from his less than illustrious start at Tottenham Hotspur. It’s somewhat a testament to the times that we live in as fans that “club-record signings” are rarely much to rave about. Our record signings in recent seasons were none other than Erik Lamela and Davinson Sanchez.

On the other side of the coin, Stoke City’s record signing was Kevin Wimmer until they signed the equally nondescript Giannelli Imbula, whose contract was canceled a few days ago.

Tanguy came to Spurs in a flurry of expectation, and initially, we did get some cracking little cameos from the Frenchman of Congolese descent.

At Tottenham, transfer monies are always an issue, and the cleanest option might well be to shunt Tanguy on and find a more “oven-ready” solution to our midfield troubles.
