Mourinho impressed with new signing in training that is yet to start for Spurs

By Bruce Grove -

Jose Mourinho made some impressive signings in the last transfer window as Tottenham looked to back him as much as they could.

Despite the financial impact of the coronavirus, Spurs still managed to sign the likes of Matt Doherty, Sergio Reguilon and Gareth Bale.

These players have all looked like top quality additions to the team so far with the club now top of the Premier League table and progressing well in other competitions.

One new signing that hasn’t seen much action for the club since he joined them is Joe Rodon.

The Welshman was signed after Tottenham failed to sign the likes of Milan Skriniar whom they desperately wanted to land.

He joined them from Swansea, but he is highly-rated and at 23, he will be valuable to Spurs for several years to come.

While he hasn’t played for the team as much as he would have wanted, he seems to be closer than ever to making his first start for the club.

This is because Football London claims that Jose Mourinho has been impressed with his application in training.

That is the first step to getting a chance to play for the club and Rodon seems to be doing the right things.
