Manchester United becomes the latest team linked with highly experienced Spurs man

By Bruce Grove -

Manchester United has become the latest team to show interest in Tottenham captain, Hugo Lloris.

The World Cup winner has been in north London for the last nine years and has remained one of the best goalkeepers in England.

Yet he hasn’t won a trophy at the club and looks set to push for a move away in the summer.

He has been linked with a transfer to PSG in recent weeks with the reports claiming that a reunion with Mauricio Pochettino might be on the cards (The Sun).

L’Equipe is now claiming that United is also interested in making a move for him at the end of this season.

The Red Devils have two of the best goalkeepers in England at the moment with Dean Henderson and David de Gea battling to be the first choice.

They have recently selected Henderson as the first choice in the absence of de Gea, but the report says he will ask to leave if the Spaniard displaces him, eventually.

With that in mind, the Red Devils are now looking for an alternative and they have Lloris in mind.

The former Lyon man has been the first choice at Spurs for a long time now, it will be interesting to see if he would want to join a team where he isn’t guaranteed playing time.

Trawling through the various amounts of non story articles as you do, could you choose some that are actually worth reading , for example the high praise for Ben Davies from his club manager on playing through the pain barrier recently.
In a time when the players of this club are being targeted for their lack of effort and commitment, surely it highlights the length some players like Ben will go to for this club, give credit where it’s due !
