Uncomfortable Viewing: It Would Be Interesting To Ask The Spurs Fans In This Video How They Feel Today

By The Boy -

This video reared its awkward head today. I recall seeing it at the time and wondering then who acts like that in broad daylight without consuming copious amounts of booze. A crueler mistress than football fans acting up for a camera is undoubtedly time. After Gareth Bale’s comments yesterday, it might appear that the zeal from the mob featured… might have been misplaced. I guess it pays to have the old ‘look, I’m sorry, but I was 7 pints in when that was filmed‘ line up one’s sleeve, eh?

I know, it’s quite shocking. Time the ‘latest’ custodians did one, they’ve had 22 years and they have failed miserably at the football.

We have what appears to be a somewhat unique situation in the EPL in that we have a squad who have one of the worlds top stadiums to play in, possibly some of the best training facilities in the world and yet many seem to hold no loyalty, desire or passion for the club and it shows on the pitch. Its called being “Spursey” but it goes much deeper than that. Look at Leicester and how those players seem to have a hunger and desire in a small club with limited facilities. Why is that? My guess is that they have genuine football club owners and we have a real estate development company pretending to be. That is the hub and root cause of the malaise at this club and over a period of 20 years, it has been ingrained into the very fiber of the club’s being. One could even argue a case for hoping the club slides towards relegation and the brand and asset values fall faster than a hookers knickers. Then Uncle Joe pulls the plug on the little emperor and calls it a day, selling out in a forced sale at a price more affordable. A real owner takes over who can see the potential of putting the football success first and then adding in the benefits of the infrastructure as a bonus to those involved. Until then I fear nothing of any substance will change.

I’m not making any excuses for Levy, I never do. However in this instance, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I think if most people are actually being honest and they would’ve said at the time that if we can get him fit that he would improve our team and on occasion, (in a poor season) he already has.

Then again if you feel Lamela or Bergwjin offer more quality, then Bale doesn’t get in the side.

Beggars can’t be choosers, and a Levy led Spurs are sadly reduced to begging…

ENIC OUT.

“we’re a big club now like…”

😶

And if you know your history….

Alot don’t seem to…..

Compare the interview with Spurs fans coming back from Feyenoord in 83 to this vid….it speaks for itself.

Welcome to the new generation of the ENiC fc Levyologist. Like putty in his hands….

“Salty Gooners”

That fella has a fan podcast. A big one. It’s not even worth trying to talk reality to this level of delusion.

It’s the hope that kills you with this club.
