Watched again, this Giovani Lo Celso strike was a goal from nowhere. Sure, it was “only” Middlesbrough, but this boy is fast on his feet.

It could be an optical illusion, because the Argentinian is playing alongside Winks and Eriksen, but Giovanni looks to be carving out a role for himself at Tottenham. There’s a determination about his play, a refusal to use the reverse gear that is bound to endear him to fans.

This was a tasty little move. What began as an innocuous enough recovery, turned into another direct threat.
More, please.
Needs a right side at times.
I must be thick but I don’t understand the phrase “the Poch legacy isn’t a very nice one”.
Players learn to trust their bodies, managers will use them until injured. Kane will put his hand up for every game. Tangy knows his body, if he played the game before his first injury and broke down it would have been unprofessional. Obviously the fitness staff need to identify problem areas and work with him. Embarrassing a player into playing when unfit fails on 2 levels.
What legacy? It was picked apart over the last two years by Dr Evil, there’s nothing left…
Not sure if too much is being made of N’Dombele’s mentality. He’s clearly got fitness issues, doesn’t speak English, never played in England before. I think people jump on the bandwagon with these things a bit.
He told Maureen he didn’t feel fit enough, Maureen insisted he played and then he gets injured in the next game. I’m not sure what to believe here. Looks like a player to me…
This lad is the real deal, and a grafter with it.
He won’t get worse.
Could be. Only time will tell.
N’Dombele mental fragility aside looks like a player too.
He has a lot of potential, as does Tangy and Sess. Just need to get rid of the deadwood.
The Poch legacy isn’t a very nice one. He’s still as inexperienced and naive as he was at Española
He’s really opening up.
Sad thing if Poch was still here we wouldn’t have seen as much of either Tanganga or Lo Celso. His reluctance to play guys until they were Poch ready was exasperating.
