Italians just will not give up and are set to have another go at persuading Daniel Levy to sell

By Bruce Grove -

According to RMC Sport, via their journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi, Inter Milan isn’t ready to concede defeat in their pursuit of Tanguy Ndombele and they are prepared to have another go at signing him.

The Italians have made the French midfielder their top summer target after they realised how tough it will be for them to land N’Golo Kante from Chelsea.

Antonio Conte was on the verge of leaving Inter Milan after their Europa League final loss to Sevilla, but the Italian has decided to stay on and he will hope that the club will back him with the signings that he wants this summer.

One player that he is looking to sign in this transfer window is Ndombele.

The Frenchman only joined Spurs last summer, but his first season in England hasn’t been the best.

To make matters worse for him, he fell out with Jose Mourinho towards the end of last season and the former Chelsea boss might be open to selling him.

The report claims that although Mourinho will be happy to get rid of him, Daniel Levy believes he will come good for the club and he is refusing to entertain the idea of selling his record signing.

Inter Milan had been hoping that they will swap him with Milan Skriniar who is interesting Mourinho.

Levy’s stand seems to be a serious one, yet it hasn’t deterred the Italians, according to the report.

Earlier today we reported that Inter saw Ndombele as the easiest option for them and that it was more difficult for them to lure Kante away from Chelsea. I suspect that will soon realise that it will be the Blues midfielder that will be the easier option if Levy has already made his mind up about keeping the Frenchman.

Still love Bale. He still mentions us. Watches our games and roots for us to win. Bale loves spurs still……. Modders has only mentioned Levy since he left. The word ‘hate’ was in there somewhere.

You are mistaking not being played in the correct position, where Modric still worked for the team, to being stinking awful. Modric did not stink the place out and give up. There lies the difference.

Modric never “carried the swing” in his first season if my memory serves me correctly

I hope we don’t have to read about this all the way upto October. The more this goes on, the more people will think Ndomroundbele will come good and suddenly turn into the league’s most powerful midfielder. What are the chances this lad will come good, about as much as Spurs signing a big name player? I’m trying to think of players who had absolute stinkers in their first season and turned into world beaters the next. Best for all concerned to sell and move on. If he turns in to a world beater elsewhere I will hold him even more in contempt for not doing it for us. Charlatan.

Skriniar and £15 million. Use that money to buy Doherty.
