Gazzetta Dello Sport via Sport Witness is continuing the rumour mill that links Tanguy Ndombele with a move to Inter Milan.
The Frenchman joined Tottenham in last summer’s transfer window. He was expected to help the Lilywhites build on reaching the final of the Champions League in the 2018/2019 campaign.
However, his first season in the Premier League has been an unsuccessful one and he seems to be on the verge of leaving Spurs.
Barcelona and Inter Milan have been linked with a move for him, but it seems that the Italians have a better chance of landing him.
The report claims that Inter are keen to land a midfielder and Ndombele fits the bill.
The report further claims that Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante is Antonio Conte’s first choice to fill the midfield void at the club, however, the Italian knows it will be almost impossible for him to convince Chelsea to sell one of their most important players.
It seems that Chelsea’s stance on Kante makes a move for Ndombele an easier option.
Their pursuit of the Frenchman is also helped by the fact that Jose Mourinho likes Milan Skriniar and the report also claims that should Spurs make a move for the defender, they will demand a swap deal that involves Ndombele.
