Italian giants hoping to tempt Tottenham into a transfer swap deal

By Bruce Grove -

Calciomercato via TeamTalk is claiming that Juventus is the latest team that is interested in signing Tottenham’s record signing Tanguy Ndombele.

The Frenchman only joined Spurs from Lyon last summer and the club had high hopes that he will be an inspired signing.

His introduction to English football hasn’t been successful and the club is hoping that he will kick-on in the new season.

However, he has continued to be linked with a move away from the north London side with teams like Inter Milan continually being linked with a move for him (The Sun).

The latest team coveting Ndombele is Juventus and the report claims that the Old Ladies will struggle to pay Spurs’ asking price so they have decided to be creative.

It claims that they want to offer Federico Bernadeschi to Spurs in exchange for the Frenchman.

Bernadeschi has been a target for Jose Mourinho when he was the manager of Manchester United and the Old Ladies are hoping that he will still be interested.

Spurs have been busy in this transfer window and they might still sign some new players.

Players are also expected to be sold, Ndombele will likely stay because Spurs have maintained that they will only sell him for close to what they paid to sign him, which is a huge fee in a time like this.

But that does not mean that clubs will not be continuously linked with the 23-year-old.

Someone’s always willing to take a risk on a bad-attitude flops with obvious talent. No question he’s a hugely talented footballer, didn’t seem to know when to go into physical challenges vs when to pull out or lay the ball off. Maybe it was the speed and physicality of the league and not being adjusted, maybe he’s just unfit and has poor decision making. A different league is probably a good choice for him, but if he doesn’t fix his attitude he’s gonna be another Ravel Morrison or Ben Arfa

Perhaps the Chav’s may inadvertently do us a favour if Leverkusen can be persuaded to part with some of their shekels for Aurier.

On a different topic Bayer Leverkusen should have no problem coming up with the cash for Aurier if they are serious after selling Havertz to Chelsea.

I’m baffled by this interest from these clubs in a player who has done precisely nothing at Spurs. Maybe they think they will hook a bargain, well they’ve come to the wrong club in that case.

If Juve want to REALLY swap a player for Ndombele, QUICK, go grab Dybala!!!
