If Fabrizio Romano Is Correct Then Spurs Are In For A Miserable Summer

By The Boy -

If Harry Kane is looking for Champions League football then he’s most likely playing for the wrong club. Tottenham are mathematically able to achieve top-flight European qualification, but it would require not just sides that have been doing well to slip into reverse, but for Spurs to stop being utterly unreliable. Then there are the hoops to be jumped through in order to land in the right European tournament.

There are in theory, 4 Champions League spots, 2 Europa League ones, and for the first time, 1 European Conference League spot. 5th place would grant Europa League football, as would the FA Cup winner. The Carabao Cup winner would land European Conference League football. So Spurs’ prospects would be greatly aided if a side in the top 4 were to win the FA Cup…

So let’s recap. Tottenham’s path to retaining Harry Kane:

  • Win every remaining game, while teams about us don’t.
  • A side above us wins the FA Cup.
  • We suddenly have a footballing personality transplant.
  • Oh, and we mustn’t win the Carabao Cup, or we’ll end up in the European Conference League…

So you think Joe and levy don’t have the best interests of their investments at heart? Do you think that they don’t know that a winning team is worth more money? There’s no point have wicked infastructure without a winning team! (Valuable squad) money is going to be spent. It’s about winning now. Keep up.

I am only quoting the head of business development whom I assume knows more about this than me.
“Over the past three to four years, I think this has been, quite frankly, the most followed stadium in the world,” he told the audience. “When people come [to the first test event] on Sunday, I think they will be truly amazed by how magnificent the stadium is.
“It is an NFL stadium and that’s the key message. From the very start during the design phase, we have had the NFL in mind. The anchor tenant is Tottenham Hotspur, but this is designed to be a permanent home for the NFL outside the US.”
I am merely making the point that Enic care little about the football club per se and only about the bottom line and how it will affect a future sale. If you are one of the flat earthers who believes that Lewis and Levy have the best interests of the football club at heart and not fattening up their property portfolio before selling up, I will have to beg to differ. Football success is irrelevant to them.

On a wee technicality….THFC do own the stadium, 100% & ENIC own 85% of THFC.
‘Anchor tenant’ in this case, is only really a legal term in that they’re the primary/most prestigious/most popular habitants (for want of a better term), there to draw in other consumers, eg NFL, music concerts, rugby, etc.
When the term was first mentioned, my guess is that it was necessary to name THFC as such, being creditable & financially stable, so ENIC were able to obtain the financing to build the stadium.

I am quoting Aidan Mullaly, head of business development, from 21st March 2019, when he stated that THFC are the anchor tenants of the new stadium. Even you should probably be able to grasp that a tenant generally pays rent, unless you think that the club is paying rent to a third party. I am not sure what you mean by “back off” but this smells of some absurd threat which I shall choose to ignore.

Spurs pay rent? Who to ENIC? Rubbish. “Cretin? Listen. Anyway.. just back off. Spurs pay rent” spurs pay the bank back. They borrowed the money not ENIC.

THFC do not own the stadium, Enic do. Spurs pay rent. Grow up and smell the roses. You’ re one of the cretins who support Enic and Levy. You obviously enjoy serial failure and broken promises and live in some subliminal state where you believe that Enic and Levy have the club’s well being at heart when they only have their greed to satiate.

The new lane is a football stadium that can do many things. Your the stupid one. Tottenham Hotspur football will always come first. The NFL RENT IT OFF TOTTENHAM WHEN WE ARE NOT USING IT. SO DO THE MUSIC PEOPLE. Brilliant

70 points probably is the magic number in the league even if we end 6th or worse, Jose stays so there isn’t the 5 year restart of the project and we might get Kane giving it another 12 months.
But we also need to splash out on players and there are deals to be done lots of clubs need to sell and this could be the opportunity to do the opposite of what we’ve always done.
CL is a myth you’ve got to be in it to attract the best players because we never stumped up the cash to get the right and proven players.

Why would any top player want to join THFC, let alone play for them? If you want to win trophies which I imagine is what the best players want to do, why would you join a club that perennially under achieves unless it is only about the money? I am amazed that HK hasn’t had enough of this fantasy that we will ever win silverware and it is clear that Son will not be signing a new contract. It doesn’t matter who the manager is, nothing will ever change whilst Enic are the owners and we have a chairman who interferes in footballing matters about which he understands very little. For those fans who prattle on about our self sustaining business model and that we are not like other clubs, a self deluding mantra, deceitfully used as an excuse by Levy for years of under investment and non achievement, your bovine acceptance of this revolting regime is allowing them to continue with this farcical business model. The net result of their reign is £600mill of debt and a football club that doesn’t even own it’s own stadium anymore. It is the same fans who delude themselves into accepting this ownership model who also claim that Enic never take any money out of the club. So when Levy paid himself a £2mill bonus for going 100% over budget and being one year late in delivering the project, where did this money come from? Where did the money come from to buy the land adjoining the stadium and which is still going on? Was this facilitated by money sitting on the balance sheet of the club? Do those Enic supporters of the President of Patagonia and his little henchman really believe that success on the pitch takes any form of preference over building a property empire which will be sold at some stage for an enormous profit whilst we face more years in the wilderness and it is these same fans who actually believe that Lewis and Levy are genuine fans, don’t make me laugh. I say a plague on Enic, the vampire squid of football.

I can’t fathom the Euro conference league. Of all the useless, pointless, pitiful braindead ideas coming out of the wally’s running the sport it’s right up there.
Plus I just saw footage of a kids baseball game where all the players had masks on. Way to kill your offspring ?! Effin UNNNbelievable.

I have said this before the difference money wise between winning something and a top four place and a cl run is not enough for enic to invest in the team. They are making more than enough money with a full stadium and a top four finish to keep them happy. When we don’t have top four then Danny just gets out his big book of excuses.

By my understanding THFC can still WIN the Carabao Cup AND finish top FIVE to qualify for Champions League….so long as a club in top FOUR wins the FA Cup.*
IF all the above transpires, the team finishing 6th in PL & FA Cup runners up qualify for Europa League. (Not sure if Euro Conference place would go to 7th placed team?)

(*So long as those ‘South London squatters in North London’ do NOT win the Europa League as that will royally fcuk everything up!)

(Think I’ve got that all correct?)

I hate to say it but Harry should go. He’s being used by Levy, not to aid in winning trophies but to distract from the minimal spending on the supporting class. Levy thinks Kane and Son are enough to justify the whopping ticket prices. Well I’ve got news for you Danny, both might be off because they’ve likely sussed your little games are not about trophies but about selling season tickets, sponsorship and events. It’s all about money at the THFC stadium not glory. It’s a business and thanks to the conned masses enic can sell their tickets for whatever price they like. The fans are brainwashed that because they have a big stadium then they must be a big team. The Chelski stadium is rubbish, but the team that plays in it has true pedigree and a trophy list as long s your arm in recent seasons. Levy has got it the wrong way around entirely. He thinks fancy buildings and training pitches can win trophies! What they win is swooning fans willing to pay silly money to watch a gradually declining team due to gross underinvestment. I blame Daniels mum.
