He came back to the club and pushed Harry Winks further down the pecking order under Nuno Espirito Santo.

Skipp would have been praying that he kept his place under the intense Italian and it seems his prayers have been answered after a recent revelation from a Spurs correspondent.
Alasdair Gold reveals in a recent podcast the Italian gaffer loves Skipp and has assured him that his place on the team is secured.
He told the Gold & Guest talk Tottenham podcast:
“He’s a big Oliver Skipp fan already, Antonio Conte. This is what I’m told.
“He’s very much come in like, ‘yeah, you’ll do for me, I like you, I like you a lot’. That’s what I get told from a few people behind the scenes as well.”

Skipp has been one of the best players at Spurs this season and seems a better option when compared with Winks.
Conte likes to have a solid midfield, and the Englishman alongside Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is providing that for the club.
This development is more bad news for Winks, who must have hoped a new manager would restore him to the first team.
However, when something isn’t broken, there is no need to fix it and Winks might have to leave Spurs now to get his career on track.
Well one things is for sure
no creativity with him & Hojbjerg and I read that Conte likes 1 DM so interesting times.
