Tottenham’s match against Burnley at Turf Mor this afternoon has been postponed.
The Lilywhites had hoped to get back to winning ways following their shock 2-1 loss at NS Mura during the week.
However, heavy snow forced the game to be postponed.
The game will now be played at another date, adding yet another fixture to Spurs’ congested schedule.
The Lilywhites made a post about the postponement on their Twitter account and fans reacted to the development in the comments.
Some were surprised that Burnley didn’t have a heated pitch in 2021, while others felt sorry for Spurs’ fans who had travelled to attend the game.

Spurs would certainly prefer to play the match today, but the weather isn’t good enough and Antonio Conte’s men will now turn their focus to their next match.

Last time I went to Burnley it was like that in the summer.
Err – Burnleys pitch is heated, it was switched on, snow was cleared and it snowed so much it covered again in 10 mins….might want to check facts next time 😉
