“He has changed big time” “Mark my words” These fans have spotted a welcome new trend at Tottenham [video]

By The Boy -

These fans (some of whom are not Spurs) that left comments on José Mourinho’s post match presser last night, might provide some perspective for any straggling Tottenham fans who are still unconvinced by the Portuguese.

Perhaps the biggest problem José has faced in the most recent stages of his career is that he has been around for so long that there is an element of caricature about him and it can be difficult for some to view Mourinho objectively. If these comments from Manchester United and Chelsea fans are anything to go by, there is more to Mourinho than some deny. These comments are from YouTube, where in my experience, fans from rival clubs tend to be ‘less than helpful’, shall we say…

It is.

I wouldn’t say ‘busted flush’ but at the top level not quite what he was to be worth the trade off in style of play. But we’ll see, he certainly has a point to prove and he’s a determined man. That you can’t question…

I don’t particularly like the football I’ll be honest about it. If we win stuff i’ll put up with it.

It’s like taking the second class carriage, you might still get to your destination, but the ride is uncomfortable, the food tastes horrible and the coffee is undrinkable. I’ll put up with it for a short while if it brings prizes, long term win or lose i’m not interested. Not for my club…

I agree. Trump, Biden, Obama etc. You could even say Johnson and Corbyn when he was d*cking about ‘leading’ Labour.

It’s all popularism, just appealing to your target audience. ‘Divide and rule’ has never been a more apt description for present day political leaders. Easy ‘solutions’ to difficult challenges, none of which actually work or come to fruition. Right, Left or Centre it makes no difference.

Nobody seems to want to stand up and try and find the most workable solutions for the majority. Be honest with people etc. This is actually what naturally happens while all the hot air and rhetoric does the rounds, stuff just happens.

The political class have little influence on events. It’s all about big business and social media manipulation now. Until one of these clowns ignores al of that white noise and cuts through it, we will just be faced with more meaningless gestures and popularism.

Biden looks pretty terrible to me but Weetabix Hair Donald pushed the old divide and rule tactic to its conclusion. In the end it blows up in your face.

I found him hilarious because he was a reminder of how anyone can make leader so long as you say the right things to the right people. It was an interesting experiment and a lesson. If the political class don’t learn from it, then they only have themselves to blame. The hypocritical c*nts…

Currently 3rd in the league. Could possibly be top if it weren’t for VAR and some decidedly dodgy defending. Top of our EL group and semi final of a cup. Now, whilst we’ve not won anything yet, there are still fans who want him out. And as I said in my original post we could win everything there is to win and these fans would still want him out ! It’s irrelevant whether Jose cares or not. It doesn’t make sense that we are better now than this time last year and there are still dissenting voices

People have different views on the world. Fraud is everywhere but not on this website. They either win, lose or draw with or without the use of VAR. I frequent this blog to get away from the madness in the world. It’s not a political website so keep your fakin political views to yourself.

Yep. He’d laugh at it and so he should. Jose is a pragmatist, whatever you think of his methods.

Agreed there are no statesmen leading countries anymore.I would venture that Putin is probably the closest to that description, but even then he is well short.

As I posted before. My mate has good connections at the Red Rags one day I was mocking him for being a “Cockney Red” and he very nicely told me that the house he was born in was knocked down and the Red Rag training ground built on the site.
Anyway he assures me he never settled there (didnt his family stay in London?) and was never really happy even though he won them 2 pots.
Contrast that to N17 he looks like he has come home and (the stuff above is fact as I know it but this is my take on it) we may have to send in the boys to remove him when the time comes.

We are moving in the right direction. There is still work to be done with the squad. The midfield is still a question mark for me. Winks and Sissoko imho are not at the level we need. Davies is definitely a weakness. Docherty is not showing. Vinicius is not convincing me at the moment.I still think we need a world class player as an atm. If we can do some sort of deal with RM for Isco with Deli going the other way then that would be a great move in January and next summer we need to strengthen in these other area’s. We do need to win something this season however as we need to keep the likes of Kane and Son. We need Bale to commit to a longer term and we need to persuade Requilion to stay. If Pooch goes to Man Utd he will be looking to poach Kane for sure and possibly others. Our players need to believe that by staying they are all going to fill their trophy cabinets.

I have maintained for some time he is a trojan horse.Harris doesn’t have enough party support to become president.
My guess Killery will exit from the shadows. Then watch out.She still isn’t over losing to Trump and although she actually won more votes she lost it on the Electoral College votes, which is where Trump is fighting for his future.
I pity the Americans who have to choose between these two.

Even if King Kane breaks the record as Spurs all time highest goal scorer which I hope he does IMO Spurs’ greatest ever striker is still the legendary Jimmy Greaves.

Now Germany’s foreign minister Heiko Maas has weighed in on the US election.

“Decent losers are more important to the functioning of a democracy than brilliant winners,” Maas said in an interview with the Funke media group.

“The US is more than a one-man show,” he said, adding that “those who continue to add fuel to the fire in the current situation are acting irresponsibly”.

If there have been proven fraudulent ballot papers, he should contest them. It has been alleged that over 300,000 votes in Arizona were ineligible. These allegations have to be investigated.

People should be careful what they wish for. If Biden wins, which looks increasingly likely, one wonders how long it will be before he retires through ill health or dies. In which case, Kamala Harris becomes President who is not far from being a Communist, then God help America.

Whilst it’s not a political forum clutching at straws via his delaying the inevitable vexatious lawsuits, sounding like a broken man in his latest press conference, the end is nigh for bitterly divisive showman Donald Trump.

Unlike Trump who is a sore loser, in my world you win with dignity and lose with dignity!

I don’t think that any real Spurs fan wants Mourinho to fail as we all want to win silverware and he has a great track record for winning. However, there is no harm in raising a note of caution about him and that does not make you a Spurs traitor. Let’s not forget that he has been dismissed from his last two jobs and he has a proven track record for losing the dressing room in an undignified manner. My inference that it is Mourinho’s ego that ends up getting in the way. In other words, the story becomes about him and not the club. It is also worth pointing out that he is capable of playing some pretty turgid football. Fans support the team but that does not mean a blind and unswerving loyalty to Enic, Levy and Mourinho. Let’s hope he becomes a Spurs legend by winning multiple trophies. but no manager is impervious to criticism.

It will make no difference whatsoever to Jose if there a section of our support that don’t feel he’s the right man. So let’s stop pretending that the opinion of the fans makes any difference to this or how Jose does.

I’m not a fan of his approach and didn’t want him in. However, I appreciate and respect his standing in the game. I also believe he has a point to prove to the world, which is probably why he took the job.

However, the only thing that matters is how the team do. If we win and keep winning nobody is going to complain about anything, even if it’s not pretty at times.

Fans have their right to say if they like the way the team is playing or they don’t. They have a right to not be happy if we lose. This is not a ‘wave’ of negativity projected by the fans that washes over the players and manager, it’s just opinion. It makes no difference to anything on the pitch.

We are second in the league and we have a great foundation to do something this season and Jose has done a good job to get the team to where they are now. We could well win something this year.

Some of us just feel a little perspective is in order and that the ‘cult of Jose’ isn’t something everyone fully understands when we play poorly or lose leads for example.

Let people have their say, Jose will get on with the job in hand regardless. He doesn’t need a little rabble of online henchmen telling everyone to get in line. F*ck that sh*t…

In fairness whilst Jose has seemingly got his mojo back and “loves” our club I for one thought he was a busted flush. His remit is simple assembling a team capable of winning some elusive silverware! Will it happen this pivotal season is the million dollar question!

Jose could win Spurs everything there is to win in club football. Sadly there are a number of Spurs fans who’d still say get him out of our club. Chav this chav that.

Yes folks, we are blessed with the same brain dead mouth breather fans that blight football clubs up and down the land.
