Harry Kane is “being teased” and will never give what Tottenham wants from him, according to pundit

By Bruce Grove -

Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped Harry Kane to push to leave Tottenham again as he struggles to score goals for the Lilywhites.

He was involved in one of the biggest transfer sagas of the last summer window and Agbonlahor suggests we haven’t seen the end of it yet.

Manchester City has done well without a striker since Tottenham refused to negotiate the transfer of Harry Kane with them.

Agbonlahor believes their performance could be a showoff to Kane and tells him what he could enjoy if he joins them.

He now expects the England captain to ask to leave again at the next opportunity he gets and to keep pushing until he gets his move.

“He showed glimpses [of quality] against West Ham,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider.

“But he looks like a player that probably is still sulking.

“When you see a club that you could have played for battering teams, scoring goals without a striker. It’s like being teased watching Man City every week.

“He’s definitely going to be pushing for a move in January and if he doesn’t get one in the summer too.

“I think every transfer window until the end of his contract, he’s going to be pushing for a move. He doesn’t look like a player that wants to be at the club he’s playing for, Spurs.”

The Boy Hotspur says

His poor form in this campaign suggests that Spurs would have been better off if they had offloaded Kane in the last transfer window.

The striker has served the club admirably and it is hard to see him leave us, but it could be for the greater benefit.

He would bring in good money that would help to strengthen the squad while he goes on to achieve his aim of winning trophies.

But Daniel Levy gambled on keeping him and I hate to admit that it has backfired now.

It would look like admitting defeat to sell him in the January transfer window, but if Kane insists on leaving at the end of this season, we should grant him his wish.

Really? He wouldn’t have got me on side if he was gone to City for 140mil.. Everyone berates Levy for always selling our best players for money, when they wanted out.. I think he’s done the right thing here… Top four and CL bags you 90million. Kane to City meant they win the league at a canter for the next 5 years. 140 mil is probably slightly above his transfermarkt value, but in reality he’s worth more in his prime… England captain too he rakes in money on shirts and franchise.. City made an official bid of 100million. Thats not much more than United paid for Maguire ffs… I’m glad the shieks were told where to go..

Levy at his age should know keeping a player who desperately wants to leave is pointless and has side effects which we are now witnessing. I suspect Levy could have got a large number of fans on side by selling Kane for say 140 mill, adding 50-60 to this pot & reinvesting all monies into the squad… as things stand we’ll be battling for 7th until the transfer policy changes…but why should it levy doesnt need success on the football pitch to line his pockets.

Spurs should be more than a car to Kane.. No one should be bigger than the club.. I would say if he wants to go abroad then fine sell him.. But no way to another prem club where he seriously damages us.. Sir Alex style. Think Jaap Stam, Beckham and whoever else, gone and out the country, never to a rival like Chelsea Arsenal or City.

Good on Harry I support him in this. If you have a car and it reaches a point you make a decision to keep it or move it on. You know its not done still going well does its job but you can get good money for it, not the money you want as a tight fisted little so and so you are but still good money. Loving this fall under levy. Mountain of debt the like of which spurs have never had before, lots of players not playing to their potential and lots of unhappy players. Add to this the story of big Brad getting charged £800 for giving away too many shirts it says a lot about enic.
