Four Tottenham v Everton punts that could send you to bed with a smile on your faces

By Bruce Grove -

I have already covered my match preview and score prediction for tonights Tottenham v Everton clash here and now I am going to cover the best betting opportunities that I feel are available to us this evening.

It really is a simple concept for me, I am confident that Tottenham will win but not so confident that they will keep a clean sheet.

Once I arrived at that conclusion it narrowed down the opportunities to a manageable level to identify the best punts from the hundreds of markets that the bookies put up for each Premier League game.

I identified four separate bets that I believe would give us the best chance to end the evening with more money in our pockets that we had at the beginning of the night.

The most likely scorelines, in my humble opinion, are a 2-1 or 3-1 win for Spurs. Additionally, it also means that both teams to score and a Tottenham win is a value bet.

My final bet for the Tottenham v Everton match is a player to score anytime and purely from a value perspective it has to be Son Heung-min.

So, in conclusion, these are the four bets that I will be going with this evening and with some luck I will end the night very satisfied because Spurs won and both the bookies and Everton lost.

Tottenham win 2-1 @ 9.50 (0.5pts)
Tottenham win 3-1 @ 17.00 (0.5pts)
Tottenham win and both teams to score @ 4.00 (1pt)
Son Heung-min to score anytime @ 3.25 (1pt)

The total outlay would be 3pts or £3 or £30 depending on what your stake would be with a point representing £1 or £10 (or more if you are very adventurous)

So, just one winner would see a profit. Good luck.

They also know their gaffer wasn’t backed and the squad allowed to stagnate instead of being pushed to the next level. The limitations of ambition at Spurs have shattered their motivation. The Poch era need to be moved on unfortunately.

You’ve hit the nail on the head, the team spirit is going, they know that if Harry doesn’t go this year it will be next and Sonny and Dele will follow. They’re not going to waste the best years of their careers on a rebuild that will take a minimum of two maybe three years just to be competitive. It’s taken Klopp five years and he had the money to get the players he wanted.

That stint in the South Korean army seems to have done Sonny no good. I listen to 5Live a lot and I have to keep checking that Sonny is still on the pitch.
