There comes a time when football banter is put to one side and that is when tragedy strikes and that is exactly what has happened today following the news that the brother of Serge Aurier has been shot dead in France earlier this morning.
Aurier’s 26-year-old brother Christopher was shot and killed outside a nightclub in Toulouse at around 5 am.
Tottenham confirmed the news on their Twitter account earlier today and fans have responded with their condolences and not just Spurs supporters but also fans from many other clubs.
4get football, deaths is bigger then football so please support him while he needs it, I'm with you @Serge_aurier be strong my brother.

There are hundreds more including from footballers ane even the NFL and it is heartwarming to see so many people express their sadness at such a terrible time for Serge and his family.
No doubt there will be an update later on from the club and possibly the player himself but right now, football takes a back seat and naturally, my own personal thoughts are with Aurier at this awful time.
RIP Christopher.
