Kids make mistakes. As football obsessive, my primary concerns about any player are that their mistakes are not on the football field. We live in an age of self appointed morality cops, who spend their lives frantically on the lookout for things to be offended by.
The witch-finder generals in this particular instance, were handed a near perfect storm via Dele Alli’s airport lounge video, which was universally dubbed “racist” – whilst also being filmed and published by a person of colour!
Regular readers will be aware that Dele Alli has irritated me enormously, ever since he joined us. However, piling on someone you don’t care for particularly in their professional capacity – simply because one has been gifted the opportunity by something that was done in private – is not on.
Kindly make no mistake, I wouldn’t care if this video had emanated from a West Ham player. I take a view that his video was clearly ill-advised, but far from racist, in my opinion.
Take your ban son, and use the frustration to fuel the quality of your football.

Bruno Fernandes is exactly what we needed on the first day of the season – we had him wanting to join us. We wouldnt pay – in fact Mr Levy oferred derisory sums of money. We could have had Grealish. We could have had Dyballa in truth. This is just last summer. Now if we had done that and let Eriksen go Poch would still be at the club rebuilding and making himself a living legend. We had to start a season with only Ndombele and LoCelso and both were injured. Ndombele still is. I am limiting this post to just this as what is wrong with the club. This is just one thing. Mourinho will not win us a thing. The only thing he is winning is a massive pay check and he gets to leave saying he couldnt do anything as we didnt have any players. It is a joke. Dele needs to keep his edge but he runs the risk of having it beaten out of him. To some extent his drop in form has coincided with him behaving himself.

I may be wrong but I thought Dele had only shared the video privately with his mates. One of which then put it into general circulation. If it had stayed private, the FA would be none the wiser.
