Joleon Lescott has encouraged Dele Alli to jump at the chance of playing for PSG under Mauricio Pochettino.
The Englishman has become a scapegoat for Jose Mourinho this season with the Portuguese manager unimpressed with almost everything he does.
He has been going without a start in the league since the first day of the season, and when he plays and makes a mistake, he gets taken off and called out.
He was one of the best players at the club under Mauricio Pochettino and now that the Argentinean is set to become the manager of PSG, Alli has been linked with a move to the French side again (Talksport).
They wanted to sign him last summer on loan, but Spurs refused, Lescott, however, says that he has to consider leaving especially if he is serious about playing for the England national team at the Euros next year.
As Poch knows him too, the former Manchester City defender backs him to do well at the Paris side.
He told Stadium Astro: “Dele Alli needs to find a way to kickstart and rejuvenate his career,
“Two years ago he was regarded as one of the best talents in the Premier League. With the Euros in the summer, he will want to play and get in a rhythm to stand a chance.
“PSG would be a great opportunity for him to do that with them looking to win titles and compete in Europe. That would be a sensible move as he knows the manager and the manager knows what he brings to the table. It would make sense.”

Playing for England in the World Cup perhaps lost his way Lingard simply needs a new lease of life.
Step in Everton or Newcastle??
This situation can’t continue as it hurts the club and the player. Loan him to PSG and hope he finds form and cash in. Sell the damaged goods now and we will take a huge hit which Daniel will not tolerate.
Also seemingly dodged a bullet not buying the Beek!!
Noted!
Strange about pacey Daniel James how is game has regressed!
Daniel James? My brother is a ManU fan and DJ is an apparent pace merchant – when there’s no space to run in behind, he doesn’t do much. I’d steer well clear of Lingard, that would be almost like for like (presuming I didn’t miss any sarcasm this time!) He doesn’t even make the squad most days!
Sabitzer would be just the ticket – though admittedly, I haven’t seen enough of him. Friends who watch the Bundesliga say he’s strong, likes to run, scores goals and is a leader (also plays RW, AM, CM). Yes please!
*thought
Alternatively using Alli as bait in an exchange deal with Man Utd involving David James and Jessie Lingard. Food for thoughy!
Presumably his name not Grealish is Leipzigs Sabitzer who has been mentioned in despatches!
Like the political disease infesting and controlling all facets of western life, so that truth is hidden by the effluent this kind of “news” states the obvious(not a shot at you HH). This talented footballer seems to have lost that intensity that made him and a loan (without a buy on clause) may be the way. While Bale is paid twice as much for less effort and almost similar on field time (and effort) one could understand but since dear Ruby appeared on the scene his capsize appears to have markedly increased. One could blame it on poor man management but I think that she is part of the problem
I’d only let him go if we secure some creative power from elsewhere
