Daniel Levy will have to dig a little deeper to secure major signing

By Bruce Grove -

Corriere Dello Sport via Sempre Inter is claiming that Inter Milan and Tottenham have been in talks over the transfer of Milan Skriniar and Spurs have made an offer for him.

Both teams are eager for the transfer to be completed soon and Spurs have already offered 35m euros for his signature.

Inter wants 50m euros for Skriniar, but the report claims that Spurs are more likely to up their offer to 40m euros by Monday.

The defender is set to become the latest player that Spurs adds to their team after they secured the signing of Joe Hart, Matt Doherty, Sergio Reguilon, Gareth Bale, among others.

Daniel Levy has been impressive in this transfer window and he will have to spend slightly more than he intends to on the defender.

This is because the report claims that Inter wants the 50m euros, but they will be open to putting addons in the deal to make it easy for Spurs to pay.

The report also states that the Italians have already started planning a replacement for him with the likes of Chris Smalling emerging as a target for Antonio Conte’s side.

A majority of the fee received from his sale will be used to try to sign N’Golo Kante again.
