Conspiracy Theory? Some fans are accusing Jose Mourinho of being up to no good with Tanguy Dembele

By The Boy -

The cheers that greeted the supposed re-emergence of Tanguy Ndombele this evening had barely stopped ringing out, when a number of fans believed that they had spotted a conspiracy theory lurking in The Special One’s press conference.

And that is pretty much what Jose had said prior to the Manchester United game. Mourinho told the press that the 23-year-old was assimilated in the group, training well and ready to become a useful member of the Tottenham Hotspur society.

Indeed, some fans went as far as to suggest that Mourinho’s plan was reintroduce the Frenchman, who hasn’t kicked a ball since the season resumed, and watch him struggle, live on TV.

The reaction from fans if Tanguy were to flop would be predictable enough fare, with accusations of poor attitude bound to start flying about.

The real problem Tanguy has, is that he’s not featured on Spurs’ lists with Physioroom or the club website, so if he isn’t ready for tonight, whose fault will it be? After all, the boy is our current record signing, and he is being paid rather a lot of money….

Not quite. Poch was in talks with Bruno and they agreed personal terms. Then Levy bunged the transfer, he tried raising the amount after a fee had been agreed. Or wanted installments or something similar. It was a done deal… We were never getting dybala mate he was in talks with united, but he decided himself he would rather stay with Juve than go to old trafford. I can’t see Dybala ever giving us the time of day… Juve are a top title winning club who pay him big wages.. Out of Levys league.

As I remember at the time it was Fernandes or Dybala. We’d arranged everything with Fernandes, only to leave the deal hanging to go after Dybala. If we had signed Fernandes instead of going after Dybala, we’d be sitting pretty right now.

Don’t worry about Lo Celso though, he’s been brilliant despite not getting the stats he deserves. Like Modric did, he’s getting the assist before the assist. A few goals we’ve scored are mainly down to him.

If only we signed Bruno Fernandes. Perfect upgrade for tintin he was. Only 25 as well.. He’s done more in 5 games at united than Ndombele and Lo Celso have for us all season… Bruno has 2 goals and 3 assists. His shooting, passing and dribbling stats are twice to four times higher than our lads…. Lo celso has no goals and no assists in 19 games. His all round stats are not impressing either. He is trying though, hopefully Gio will progress but he is 24 yrs old so time is of the essence now… Ndombele we know will have the odd game when he looks amazing, then a few games when he’s completely away with the fairies, unable to run or play it’s obviously a mental problem. No clubs want inconsistent players so he will be hard to get rid off under Levy.

It’s a great life isn’t it. Every month, bang £800,000 in your current account and all you have to do is run about a bit.
