Some Tottenham fans want Joe Rodon to play regularly for their club as he consistently performs for the Welsh national team.
The defender has struggled to get chances at the club this season as the arrival of Cristian Romero in the summer has pushed him further down the pecking order.
The likes of Davinson Sanchez and Eric Dier are also ahead of him at the club. They have also played Japhet Tanganga before him.
Yet the Wales National team still keeps calling Rodon up for international duty and he consistently impresses for them.
He was in their squad for their latest matches and Tottenham celebrated him for helping them to keep a clean sheet in their latest World Cup qualifying match against Estonia.
The 23-year-old was on for the entire game as a partner of Chris Mepham in their defence.
Spurs made a post about him after the game and some of their fans think he should play more often. Here are some reactions:

Not even close#ESTWAL
Excellent defender. Rodon needs to start (be a regular) for most Spurs Premier League matches, alongside Romero #COYS #THFC

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you cannot judge a players true quality based on international football. Its one thing doing it against Estonian attackers and another doing it against Salah, Ronaldo, Lukaku etc… Richard Dunne was an amazing centre-halve for Ireland but was a decent defender by PL standards.
It’s got that Levy odour all about it. He spent £40 odd million on Sanchez so Sanchez has to play. Incidentally Levy odour is the smell of moth balls from his wallet.
It really is surprising me how little game time young Joe is getting , he’s not flash he’s just a solid natural defender and probably like Ben Davies is a complete professional who never makes waves. Something doesn’t smell right about how team selection is made that’s for sure.
Rodon and Romero have to be the CB partnership. They are the future and need to play together to bond together. Dier, Sanchez, Winks, Davies, and Docherty should be gift wrapped and shipped out in January as far away from this club and the squad as possible
