I was referring to the videos, actually, but I like the written blogs as well.

There is now a variant called the ENICLevy syndrome. It fogs the brain and disconnects rational thought from the reality of actions taking place in plain sight. It is terminal unless the parasite infecting the host is cut out.

I remember many years ago – back in the sixties – missing a documentary on Greaves because we didn’t have BBC Two at home at that time and a few years later, at boarding school, my housemaster wouldn’t allow me to watch a re-run of the 1963 Cup Winners’ Cup final!

All these years later, Jimmy still my all time favourite Spurs’ footballer and my favourite ENGLISH (as opposed to British) sportsman along with cricketer Tom Graveney ( though thought of as West Country, actually born in Riding Mill in Northumberland and, as I discovered only a few years ago, a Newcastle fan; he’d be pretty excited about the Toon’s prospects, I imagine, if he was still around!)

Off topic for a moment. Wonder how many of you watched the documentary on Jimmy Greaves last night; obviously not that recent, but I hadn’t seen it before. Seeing the old black and white clips, somehow very nostalgic and very exciting, one was reminded somehow of the old Glory game as opposed to today’s grubby Money game. It’s extraordinary now to remember just HOW MUDDY some of those pitches were. On a personal level, I remember playing for my school (incidentally in our latest school magazine an article on Poch’s son, who was a pupil there) at Brentwood School (Frank Lampard an old boy there) on a complete mudbath; as a goalkeeper, very tricky that afternoon punting the ball.

Interesting to hear of the quite unsentimental way Nicholson told Greaves his number was up and he was no longer wanted at the club. I’ve heard a number of instances of Jock Stein’s seemingly unfortunate handling of player departures and often appearing to be quite ruthless and unfeeling when the time came that a player – even a star player – was surplus to requirements. Now to hear how Bill Nicholson handled Greaves’ departure having not informed him that he was leaving until the moment Peters was in his office and about to sign in the part swap deal. Perhaps it was just their way of not letting sentiment and their emotions get in the way. Under Bill Shankly, too, you ceased to exist when out injured and I think that was a fairly typical response of many of the managerial “greats.”

Well in H. Keep on keeping on…

Just listening to an interview with Stewart Downing and he’s saying we were in for him but Levy wouldn’t do it, cos he was injured at the time, Redknapp said to him he’d love him to come but chairman won’t do the deal. O Neill and Villa had no problem and of course he went and was terrific for them.

Same old same old. This blog has told the truth of these matters for years.

ENIC/Levy are the anti football.

Congratulations and well deserved. We need more people like you H. I see the Enic/Spurs scenario as a micro of the macro of current society. Once the truth is out it can defend itself but its needs unlocking and showing to some. Thank you.

Fair play to you H and good luck but these free loaders likely have never had proper jobs and they are laughing through their anger on these vlogs. Particularly when some numpty is happy to throw their giro at him/her

Well done H. You are the only one out there that has seen through the ENIC debacle at THFC and used critical thinking to formulate your opinions. You have stood true to your position despite the trolls and Levy apologists that have at times launched their critical but blunt arrows in your direction. This is one of the few groups of THFC supporters that generally see through the smoke and mirrors of the ENIC/Levy propaganda machine. It’s probably the reason I am still here as a supporter because it sure isn’t what is being dished up most weeks on the football pitch. I live for the day that ENIC and Levy depart and the club has new owners who have the desire and ambition to put a world-class squad of players into our world-class stadium. Well done again. Onwards and upwards you legend.

I saw some vlogger get paid £25 to read a ‘super chat’ comment the other day. This particular guy read it out with even a margin of effort to entertain its content. Wtf!

Really happy for you, glad the hard work has paid off, it is more entertaining watching someone articulate their opinion than read it – it’s a winning format for you, but also pleased you’re keeping the blog going.

Having a live match day thread to ‘let it all out’ on is probably saving my marriage 😀

That means a lot of people are hearing an opinion on the club that makes no excuses for ENIC, and rightfully holds them accountable for the continuing on-pitch failure under their 22 year tenure.

Keep up the good work HH, although be careful, I’m sure Daniel has people plotting to cancel the likes of you! 😂

I watch the videos and read the blog. On a personal note I prefer the blog ( when you write something) as it seems to engage more debate over just personal comments and people just move on.

Good work H.. The videos are great, the captions in the background make me laugh every time.. It was good to see you and hear you especially during your brief leaving of the blog. I’m rather late to the ‘welcome back’ group, but I’m really glad you’re back.. Imagine you’re used to smoking a pipe every morning for over 10 years, then suddenly it’s gone.. You are my pipe mate.. Keep up the good work, keep it Tottenham. 👏

Congratulations. Your opinion is one of the few Spurs fan sites that doesn’t have ENICwash all over it. I feel more fans are realizing what you have been saying for years is true and whilst it’s unlikely to damage Levy, at least his brand is suffering more than I ever remember it. If only we could get our Spurs back.
