“Back to his best.” Pundit hails Tottenham star that destroyed Leicester City

By Bruce Grove -

Harry Kane put in a man of the match display as Tottenham beat Leicester City to record a fourth win in five games and enhance their chances of finishing this season in a European place.

Leicester City is one of the top teams of the season, and Brendan Rodgers’ side has spent the last ten months inside the top four.

They were even considered title challengers at some point, and they beat Sheffield United in their last game.

Spurs were up against a top team here, and they needed to be at their very best to earn even a point from the game.

Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and arguably the most important player at Tottenham at the moment.

He showed his class in this game by setting up the first goal before scoring the other two, and Gary Neville was full of praise for the England captain.

He reckoned that Kane was the obvious choice for man of the match before claiming that the striker looks to be back to his best.

He told Sky Sports: “It’s an easy one (man of the match). He would have liked that third goal I’m sure, Harry Kane, but he’s been outstanding – back to his best.”

Kane is definitely back to his best, he destroyed the Foxes today, it is a shame that we are now at the end of the season because the form he is in now and the way the team is playing I am convinced results would have continued to be positive.
