Antonio Conte comments on the rumors regarding possible Tanguy Ndombele exit

This week, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele found himself in a new rumor that would see the 25-year-old depart to his hometown to join Paris Saint-Germain.

Discussions between the two parties remain ongoing as Spurs want the capital club to take on 100-percent of Ndombele’s wages in a loan. Meanwhile, PSG needs to offload a midfielder to make room for the France international.

With the rumor circulating through the English and French media, manager Antonio Conte was asked about the possibility of his midfielder departing to Les Parisiens

“I prefer to talk about this topic with the club, and for sure, I made an evaluation about the squad,” Conte said at his press conference“But I spoke with the club, and I hope the club listen to me.”

Tottenham wants to offload Ndombele as it seems both parties could use a separation after some supporters booed the midfielder during their FA Cup match against Morecambe.

Furthermore, the France international was also left off the squad in Tottenham’s second-leg against Chelsea. All signs point to the midfielder leaving, but his wages are a significant thorn in discussions as not many clubs can afford, so these next few days will be interesting.

I’m not doubting that he earns 200k a week, I was just wondering how this website arrived at a 120k a week? Perhaps that is an after Tax take home pay???

If I was his team mate then I’d be screaming at him frequently.. When he ambled off the other day, I’d have ran over to him and made him run off. Or I’d have picked him up and threw him off the pitch… Or I’d be fighting with him. The man is a wage thief… A problem is we have many soft players and lack leaders… Really had enough of Ndom. Sooner he’s gone the better.

If City and Bayern, or any top, well organised club really wanted him then they would have got him long before us. They get their business done early as it should be done.. We don’t beat City to signings.. Ndom always blew hot and cold. All his previous managers publicly talked about his consistency…. I have been ripped by multiple idiots here, there and everywhere for saying Ndom was a bad signing from the start. I always hoped he would prove me wrong, but it was clear really after a few weeks/months he didn’t have the minerals and wouldn’t make the grade… Now 3 years and 4 managers later he has to go…. I hope Botchy does take the waste of space from us.. Tanguy may be acceptable against poor teams in ligue 1, but he’s never goung to be consistent, world class, or good enough for the premier league.

Sorry they say Tanguy Ndombele earns £120,000 per week and not £125,000 per week.

I found this website (Not sure how credible or accurate they are) that says he is on 120 000 pounds a week. Maybe someone on this group can comment on their credibility?

He was wanted by City, juve ,Bayern to name a few. He was very very good. I believe he was a player that Poch directly requested.hence why Poch wants him again. He will do very well in that Psg team. I would prefer a couple players for straight swap. We wont see a dime of that money go on players so rather barter.

No, I’d rather see him sued

Can we start a ‘go fund me’ so any dispute over who pays whatever % of his wages, it would make up a sizeable proportion?
Would only need 200k THFC supporters worldwide paying about £10 each to be enough to pay more than half his wages to placate & satisfy the Parisiennes for the rest of this season? 😉

Right after Botchy said we need to ‘act like a big club’, Ndombele was his primary target. He told Levy ‘this is the precise signing we need’.. Manure were sniffing around him.. Botch and our scouts to blame for this one, they didn’t do their homework on him.. Tanguys ability and potential was never in question, but his consistency and mentality was.. I’m baffled too because a 5 minute google search at the time told us all we needed to know… His previous clubs moved him on because of weight problems. A pro footballer should never become fat.

Yes that’s always struck we as very peculiar. There is nothing in his past that suggests he come into the club on the same money as our top striker. It beggars belief that his agent was able to structure that deal.He must have some heavy sh*t on Levy.

“But I spoke with the club, and I hope the club listen to me.”

Best manager in the world reduced to hope. Nice one, Daniel.

Anyway this quote from Tony sums up Harry & NDonkey
