Jose Mourinho has been blamed for Dele Alli’s lack of participation in Tottenham’s games this season.
The Englishman has been one of the best players at Spurs since he moved to the club and was a favourite of the last manager.
He is also one of the fan’s favourite, but they haven’t seen much of him in this campaign.
The Englishman struggled for form at the start of the season and that forced Mourinho to sideline the 24-year-old for players who can deliver for him.
The Special One is now getting impressed by Alli’s performances and started him in the 1-0 win over Fulham.
It was a surprising decision, as he had relegated Alli to playing in Europe and cup competitions for much of this season.
Goal’s Twitter account quoted the manager saying Alli started the game because he deserved it through his work so far, adding that he wasn’t gifted the starting spot.
Spurs fans have now reacted to that take. Here are some:
And the media won't talk about this , they make headlines Jose mourinho hate having dele in his side , Jose wasted another talent like he did to kdb and Salah ( which he didn't) and blah blah blah…

Mourinho is facing the same problem he had at United, fancy boy. The difference is at United, both pogba and lingard challenged him and eventually ousted him while at Spurs, Alli learned to adjust and respect his manager. Good for Mourinho.

totally agree
It’s all deles fault he wasn’t getting into the team. He got a bit too comfortable. José needed to put the fight/hunger back into him. Dropping him was the only way. Poch took the nasty out of Dele. Not good
