Tottenham might have already started having problems in their dressing room, according to Frank Leboeuf.
Tottenham had taken to Jose Mourinho’s counter-attacking defensive style of play at the start of this season, and it brought them results.
They were even at the top of the Premier League table after winning a few games for some weeks.
However, they haven’t won a league game since they beat Arsenal 2-0 and after their 1-1 draw against Wolves the last time out, Mourinho accused his players of lacking ambition.
Leboeuf thinks that his comment shows that there might already be problems at the club.
The Frenchman says that the Tottenham players no longer listen to the Special One, and that is obvious to see from his comments.
He also questioned if the former Chelsea boss still has the dressing room.
He said on the ESPN FC Podcast: “We have learned something – that the players don’t listen to Jose Mourinho, which is not that good, you know?
“And the fact is, he [was] admitting that they have some problems in the dressing room because they play too deep. And he says that he doesn’t want them to play like that. So again, they don’t listen to him.”
Spurs should have played against Fulham last night, but the game has been postponed because of a coronavirus outbreak in the camp of the Cottagers.
Bergy was a bargain. Give the boy some time man. How long has he been at the club?
Leboeuf talking bo770cks.
Well said.
He tracks back I’ll give you that but
a) Why did we buy Bergjwyn, and
b) What does he actually do??????????????
Regarding Lamela he runs around a lot, I’ll give you that.
One surplus to requirements me thinks?
yeah bergwyn and lamela really defensive minded, the squad is poor to anyone looking at it without blinkers on or been affected by the media witch hunt
Mou is crazy: he plays seven defence-minded players, withdraws Ndombele to be left with eight and then claims he wants his team to attack. Its so boring to watch Spurs. Unclever ppl will start saying the attacking players are flops: this guy will never give them a chance.
