He came into a Tottenham side that already has some of the best midfielders in the Premier League, but his stats have now beaten every one of his teammates.

Hojbjerg has made 29 tackles in the Premier League this season, 17 more than Sissoko who comes second.
He has made 64 recoveries this season, 29 more than the second Spurs player, Sissoko as well.
Despite playing in front of the defence, he has also provided one assist, which is the joint highest among Spurs midfielders this season.
He is also the club’s pass master, having made 695 passes, the next midfielder is Ndombele who has made just 281 passes.
