Former Spurs boss reveals his Chelsea v Tottenham prediction

By Bruce Grove -

Harry Redknapp cannot separate Chelsea and Tottenham ahead of their Premier League clash later today.

The Blues will welcome high-flying Tottenham who would go two points clear at the top of the Premier League table if they win the game.

Spurs have been in fine form, and they ended last week at the top of the standings.

After their 4-0 win over Ludogorets in the Europa League, Spurs will be looking to beat Chelsea for the second time this season, after eliminating them from the Carabao Cup earlier.

The Blues are also in fine form, and they are one of the early season title favourites as well.

Frank Lampard beat Jose Mourinho in the league last season, and the former midfielder will be banking on his players to help him earn another win over his former manager.

Redknapp was writing for Sun Sport, and he claimed that if there were fans in the stadium, the game would probably have gone Chelsea’s way, but with no fans, it will be tight and he says they should draw the game.

He wrote: “If the fans were allowed in I’d have fancied that to give Chelsea a little edge, but as it is I really can’t split the two teams.

“It should be a really good battle with all those stars, but if I had to put my house on it I’d go for the draw.”
