Dele Alli has emerged as one of the fringe players of the current Tottenham team as he struggles to play.
He has been an ever-present since he moved to the club in 2015 and he is one of the players that most fans always wanted to see.
His performances have tailed off over the years and Jose Mourinho isn’t prepared to nurse any players that will not step up.
The Portuguese manager has tried his best to bring Alli back into the team, but he seems to remain unprepared.
Talks have now emerged about him leaving the club on loan, at least for the second half of this season.
Spurs rejected bids for him in the last transfer window and the next window might see teams return for him.
Keeping him at the club without football does almost no good for the team and is a complete waste of his talents.
There is no doubt that Alli is talented, but a lack of action might see him never get back to his former best.
If Spurs send him out on loan, a new environment might reinvigorate him and reignite his career.
With the club’s current options getting the job done, I hope Spurs allow him to join another team so that he can return for next season in better shape and form.

Worry not. Back on top later.
That’s them
There is a reason for that.
IMO erratic Man Utd were not convincing all in the first half when West Ham but for profligate finishing could and should of wrapped the win up against a woefully out of sorts Man Utd side. Desperate changes were made at HT bringing on Fernanades and Rashford which worked to perfection when once Man Utd scored that all important equaliser they went for the jugular and ran out comfortable winners in the end. One West Ham player I was very impressed with in the first half but faded badly in the second half was the prolific ex Hull player Jerrod Bowen. Surprised we were never linked with him. Started slowly in the PL but having gown in stature is a potent outlet and future England player.
Man U looking slightly convincing was the more ominous result today for me, was hoping they were totally lost and adrift…
Having reflected what LC remarked on an earlier blog about money bags Chelsea, with strength in depth the side looks well equipped competing with Spurs going all the way to mount a serious title challenge. Whether it’s ultimately good enough to overtake the chief protagonists Liverpool and Man Citeh to win the title only time will tell. Having quickly learnt the art of successful football management what you can say about intelligent articulate steely Lampard is that like Jose he hates losing. Having excelled in his position scoring loads of goals giving everything on the pitch he expects nothing less from his players in fighting for the cause. He says it as it is!!
Chelski win so only 3 points will do tomorrow.
The Chelsea fans sound like mating baboons
