Tanguy Ndombele wants out of Tottenham before next season because of his frosty relationship with Jose Mourinho, according to L’Equipe. The Frenchman was apparently taken by surprise when Mourinho knocked on his door to summon him out for an impromptu fitness session.

Mourinho’s intention may have been to rebuild bridges with the 23-year-old and make him feel valued, but L’Equipe understands it only led to further frustrations from Ndombele towards the manager, who had publicly criticized the big-money signing a couple of times before the lockdown for his poor fitness and injury record since arriving from Lyon last summer.
L’Equipe reports that Ndombele will look for a swift route out of Spurs if the situation isn’t rectified soon. But even if the midfielder is ready to throw in the towel/bath sheet already, Daniel Levy won’t give up on his major investment yet.
Tanguy Ndombele’s fitness has been an issue ever since his arrival at Tottenham. Or, actually, before his arrival as it turns out.
Another report from L’Equipe claims that Spurs failed to detect dental problems when putting the Frenchman through his medical prior to his £53.8million transfer from Lyon last summer – fee according to BBC Sport.
We all have that friend who insists toothache is the worst pain imaginable. Is it so bad to be physically debilitating? I’m not sure, but any missed games or training sessions because of this would have added to Jose Mourinho’s frustration over the 23-year-old midfielder’s constant unavailability
Ndombele has only managed 12 Premier League starts during his debut season at Spurs, with the first half of his campaign disrupted by a number of muscle strains, and the second half derailed by public criticism from Mourinho over his injury record and a lack of commitment on the pitch.
Given the forecasted economic climate by Premier League football agents, Tanguy’s future might well be one where he has to get his gnashers fixed up and do his talking on the pitch.
