Former Tottenham midfielder, Scott Parker turns 41 today and the club’s fans remember the Englishman for his contributions when he played for them.
From 2011 to 2013, he played 63 matches for Tottenham and on each occasion, he gave everything on the pitch.
An industrious midfielder in his playing days, Parker’s performance for Spurs earned him the Premier League’s Player of the Month for November 2011 and he was in the PFA Team of the Year for the 2011/2012 season.
He has since retired and is making a name for himself in management. He currently manages Bournemouth after two seasons as the manager of Fulham.
Tottenham took to their Twitter account to celebrate the former midfielder and their fans filled the comments with praise for him.
Most haven’t forgotten how he worked hard for the team with at least one fan remembering his famous turn while on the ball to switch defence into attack.

Great is definitely an overstatement. He was the founding member of the crop circle gang. His effort was what every football player should hold as a standard, but as a footballer he was limited.
He wasn’t a great player,he was solid enough. It is a general policy these days for people to go completely over the top with ajectives to describe sports people, led by the media unfortunately.
