“We should do that better.” Klopp believes Man United has helped his team prepare to face Tottenham

Liverpool has moved from Premier League champions tipped to win the league once again to being a side struggling to maintain a top-four position.

They were beaten by 3-2 by Manchester United in their last game in the FA Cup, and that comes after their 1-0 loss at home to Burnley in the Premier League.

The Reds are still 4th on the league table with 34 points, but they have played a game more than Tottenham who has 33 points.

Both teams will meet in their next league game, and Spurs will be looking to get a win and avenge their 2-1 loss at Anfield in the reverse fixture.

Liverpool has issues with scoring goals and they haven’t scored a goal in any of their last four league matches, losing two of them.

Prior to their loss against United, the Reds had been without a goal in two games, but Jurgen Klopp is confident that his team will score goals again, even though United beat them.

The German was speaking after his team’s game against the Red Devils and said that the game was a good way for them to prepare for their next match against Spurs because the Lilywhites are similarly good on the counter-attack.

He said to BeIN Sports: “It was a good test tonight for our next opponent, we play Tottenham. They are not too bad at counter-attacking as well! We should do that better.”
