Watch your Daily Briefing feat. Conte’s passion, plus a few recurring niggles

The next few games will hopefully only serve as an opportunity for the gaffer to further meld the squad into the shape he needs. The danger signals from Sunday’s game were that for about an hour we were staring at the same dull awkwardness. However, the patently obvious and redeeming feature was the ability to overcome and secure all 3 points.

Leeds were minus key players, but history never recalls the minutiae. Tottenham’s win was haphazard, but Leeds lost, and we now have a few games of equal or lesser quality to play.

Sessingnon is neither a winger or a fullback so as an advanced wingback he can’t really play in a more natural position for him. Christian Ziege was the last specialist one we had before Reggie.

Yeah, decent analysis. I was also really keen to see what Sessengon could do and I thought it was a decent contribution. I’d really like to see him succeed at Spurs.
All in all it was a tough watch. I can’t dispute that. I still think this side is full of nerves from the Mourinho days.
If any man can turn it around it’s Conte.
