Tottenham Hotspur cult hero Rafael van der Vaart revealed to Voetbal Primeur last month that he had told Daniel Levy to sign Hakim Ziyech from another of his former clubs – Ajax.
Spurs saw Ziyech’s talents up close in last season’s Champions League semi-final, and the Moroccan served up another reminder of what he is capable of in last night’s 4-4 draw with Chelsea.

Ziyech chalked up three assists, the pick of which was this unbelievable in-swinging cross to the back post for Quincy Promes to steer home.

The skill and precision to manoeuvre the ball around six Chelsea defenders, with just enough movement to reach Promes without giving the goalkeeper a chance to intercept, is reminiscent of, dare I say it, Christian Eriksen at his best.
If and when Eriksen does move on, we would be wise to listen to Rafa on who we may replace him with.
R vander V. come manage our PL2 lot. We need you.
£150mil should buy them. It’s not a lot.
Hakim ziyech. Yousef alal. Bruno Fernandez. Get them three in and we’ll be on our way to getting our flamboyant spurs back.
All poch needs is a slap. That’s all.
Levy and poch don’t seem to listen to me though. Mugs😁
Poch is either delusional or has lost control….we did actually win games in the past with only 10 men, even if it was just holding on..
Been saying it for ages. Yousef atal is the bollocks of a baller. He oozes what Tottenham is all about.
Levy won’t buy a player because of vdv, he will continue to use the skills of Mystic Meg and her team of minimum wage scouts to do that for him, do keep up!
