Dele Alli Upgrade? Van der Vaart Has Messaged Levy: “Get this player for next season”

By The Boy -

Potentially exciting stuff courtesy of VoetbalPrimeUr, carrying quotes from Spurs old boy Rafael van der Vaart relating to a transfer tip.

Hakim Ziyech is a Dutch-Moroccan who plays as an attacking midfielder for Ajax as well as the Morocco national team.

The 26-year-old is a player that Van der Vaart thinks should move to London and join Tottenham.

Hakim would be a brilliant upgrade on Dele Alli. Last season, the left sided midfielder scored 14 times and contributed 16 assists in the Eridivisie.

The timing could be good for Levy. Only a few weeks ago, The Daily Mail aggregated news from AS, saying that Ajax had removed a €26million release clause from the player’s latest contract. Ziyech is one of Erik ten Haag’s Academy stars and the current deal is until 2022.

A recommendation from Van der Vaart one would imagine is one that Daniel Levy would take seriously.

Tottenham need fresh faces, players who can win trophies. This boy fits that bill.

Legoverlass made a comment moments ago about the comments section, which I was going to reply to.It’s now disappeared along with all the others from the previous 5? blogs.WTF is going on HH?
When you look back on that performance yesterday it was an improvement on this season’s efforts so far. However I think that only applied to 8 of our players. The inclusion of Eriksen and a now fit again Dele continues to baffle as does the car crash that is Aurier, although as Chickhead pointed out earlier he was in the act of clearing the ball when Mane got across him thereby impeding him.VAR is just muddying the waters here.
Why was LoCelso only given 2 or 3 minutes, what is he supposed to achieve in that time?If he’s not fit he shouldn’t be on the bench.I thought Sissoko actually had a good game, but he must imptrove his decision making. So many times he undoes all his good work showing great strength.Hoever if it were not for Gazzanige Pooh would have been out of sight by halftime.
