Watch This Crafty Move From Lo Celso Against Vitesse, But When Might Spurs See More Of This Class?

By The Boy -

Lo Celso is a player that certainly divides opinion. I have to confess that my own hopes for the boy have dipped, the longer he’s been with us, the less clear his path to becoming a successful part of the team has appeared to become. International call-ups during the challenges of COVID-19 certainly haven’t helped.

This move was a rare spark of light in an otherwise dull game. My question is, how long will it be before Tottenham fans get to see this sort of play on a regular basis?

In fairness Sanchez had an excellent first 12-18 months with us…
The others have 1 half decent game in every 5 or 6

recruitment by numbers, so many look good on paper but don’t deliver. LoCelso along with Stevie B, Sanchez , Sess to name a few just haven’t progressed or improved or delivered. Let’s not forget a number get moved around simply for monetary gain.

The ability of LoSellOn to surge forward only to pass to the opposition is frightening. What I cannot understand is why he can’t he change that..How hard is it ?

As an Eriksen replacement he’s been a total flop, the very occasional moment of magic like this (in the Conference league mind), and very little else except lost possession and running into cul-de-sacs. He also falls over a lot. His stats for the money we paid are terrible even when he was getting regular game time, akin to Dele’s.
I don’t think the premier league is his cup of tea tbh. He won’t be the first to be unable to adapt, it’s too quick and physical for him. N’Dombele on the other hand has the correct attributes, if we can just get consistency out of him.
