Multiple sources in Portugal this morning have reported that Tottenham Hotspur are in talks over a loan deal for Porto striker Ze Luis.
These have been backed up by Dan Kilpatrick of the London Evening Standard, as the club explore options to bring in cover for Harry Kane.
As with Gedson Fernandes a few days ago, Spurs fans are now frantically Googling the name of a potential new signing unknown to most.

Google Ze Luis and you may find this outrageous overhead kick from earlier this season. Imagine this at Stamford Bridge next month.

Take a deeper dive into Google and you’d find a 28-year-old striker, born in Cape Verde, with a mediocre youth in the Portuguese lower leagues and a half-decent spell at Spartak Moscow, before his move to Porto last summer.
That overhead kick is one of seven goals he’s scored in 12 games for Porto, which is a good return, but this is Harry Kane we’re trying to replace. It is going to take a lot more than one overhead kick, however spectacular it was, to convince me this relative nobody is the answer to our problems.
Was it an own goal?
If he can hold the ball up then Maureen might be up for it, he always likes a big strong centre forward. He has the same agent as the kid we’ve just loaned from Benfica too…
I don’t believe we’re interested in him.
It’s a joke. A sick joke.
Don’t mind getting players on loan with an option to buy, but at least loan decent players like Bruno Fernandes, we are all being MUGGED off by Lewis and Levy.
Don’t get too excited Spurs fans, this guy is 28 and has only ever got double figures in goals for a season once.
Gary Doherty once scored one like that
Loan…. scrimp….penny pinch…..28??
Take a pay cut Levy and buy quality for pities sake.
