Watch The Difference Between The Bryan Gil & Tanguy Ndombele Pitch Exits

By The Boy -

At this stage, Spurs were losing to League One side, Morecambe. Bryan Gil who is still a prospect ran across the pitch in the same time it took our boy on £200,000 pounds a week, to shunt himself about 30 yards.

Full analysis in the morning, but Tanguy must surely be finished in the Premier League. Morecambe is a League One outfit. Yet this current record Tottenham signing found today’s opponents too tough.

Conte’s blushes were spared today. Nothing more.

In this instance; it is the fault of the guy who selected him to play for THFC yesterday. N’dombele’s attitude is not a secret. The player is often unfit, lazy, unorthodox in his style, injured and seemingly uninterested .It is that simple.

Along with Lo Lelso; he was recruited to compete for Christian Eriksen’s established role in the team. It would have been easier to just give Eriksen the transfer fee Spurs paid for Lo Celso and Ndombele and their salaries for the last 2.5 years.

Eriksen did more for Spurs in any one of his 7 seasons at the club than Lo Celso and N’dombele, put together, have managed in 2.5 years; over three seasons. It is the most damning indictment of ENIC’s tenure and Levy’s management of the club. And somehow the supporters still don’t know who identified and recruited this dross while Eriksen ran his 60k per week contract down.

The evidence for concluding that ENIC and Levy’s methods have stopped working, in respect of the recruitment, transfer policy and overall wages budget, is hidden within this conundrum. Levy had success with these methods for a decade from 2006 – 2016. The ENIC model increasingly looks dated and out of touch. Spurs have been usurped by the likes of Leicester and now Aston Villa in terms of recruiting players on or at the cusp.

Levy is starting to look like yesterday’s man who is stubbornly refusing to accept that his methods are past their sell by date. Lo Celso and N’dombele have killed the goose that layed the golden Carrick egg.

I’m hoping we are going for someone better than Traore, he’s quick and powerful but his delivery of the ball looks no better than Royal to me. Perhaps people have seen something I haven’t. Average Premiership players cost about 20m+ don’t they? Still won’t be cheap enough for Daniel.

What’s the betting Levy is trying to knock down the already reasonable £20m price tag for Traore? Whilst he’s faffing about trying to save a mill somebody else will come in and steal him from under our nose. A leopard never changes it’s spots.

well wouldnt it have fairer to say that Levy’s blushes were saved rather than Contes?
I totally get your point and 100% agree with you on Levy. The rise in financial fortunes so championed by his spreadsheet acolytes has been driven by the huge increase in broadcast revenues not his business acumen.

I sense there seems an agenda against Conte in these editorials. He has been dealt a very difficult hand with player options and as such has to play players for whom he must surely have no time for. He simply can’t play his strongest x1 every week so performances like yesterday and Fc Mura will inevitably happen. Our exit from Europe is perhaps a blessing in disguise given the number of fixtures it would involve.
In his short spell at the club I think Conte has extracted a significant improvement in the clubs performance righting many of the wrongs of the two previous incumbents regimes. Players written off here and elsewhere have shown improvement Davies and Winks. We are fitter and more competitive which gives you a chance against the vast majority of teams in this league. Unfortunately as demonstrated last Wednesday despite our improvement it can’t bridge the gap against top quality opposition.
The ball is firmly in Levy’s court if he fails to back him and he Conte walks he’d better brace himself for the shitstorm that will inevitably and deservedly come his way

You’re over thinking it. Levy knew how bad they were under Poch, Mourinho and Nuno.

He doesn’t care as long as fans keep turning up and spending their money. The Sky money and all the commercial deals insulate him from accountability.

It never ends because they own the club and can do whatever they want with it.

We’re stuck with Tanguy. Nobody is paying £60 million for him and the genius business man won’t take a loss.

Tanguy is on £200,000 a week, so he’ll carry on regardless to the end of his contract. Nice work if you can get it.

Just another exhibition of the woefullness of our scouting/recruitment. We’ll do a recent run-down of wastes of time, space, and millions:
Aurier, Clarke (who?), Rodon, Royal, Sessegnon, Lo Celso, Sanchez (record signing) Ndombele (record signing) Lamela (record signing) Stambouli (remember him?) Chiriches, Jansen, Soldado. (Pape Matar Sarr to be added later) Oh, and Dele. I could go on and on. All punts, all a waste of time, space and money. Where does this sh1t end?

We have to spend before we buy..because no one is going to buy…all other clubs know our situation..the is an ESL squad.

I hope I’m over thinking it and Conte wanted to show how bad Dele, Tanguy, Doherty and Le Celso are, with Tanguy and LeCelsos attitudes not where they should be.
These players should be sold they are depreciating assets on a spreadsheet and then let Conte decide where what’s made is spent.

All in all I have no idea what the end game is here…Conte looks like a man imparting awful news to his family…the squad has little depth ..millions has been wasted on players with no due diligence deemed necessary, and long contracts given too boot. What is that, get em in and make them good ..what..we now have the 4th coach including Mason , attempting to fulfil some bizarre in house Cult belief that a coach can mend all the mis spent monies ..the ageing players.. .magic spells down Hotspur Way.
The professionalism we all expect from our players doesn’t exist in our boardroom set in Levy’s very own spaceship..sadly all too late for prime George Clinton…shame..instead it has performing yes men and woman paying scant regard to the pitch …Too few Stars wars.
Slowly but surely our football team and football club is being turned to a group of participants rather than competitors.

I dont care how much he gets paid. Ambling off the pitch when 0-1 down and 20 minutes to go in the FA Cup… whose fault is that?

Lo Celso’s stats are just as bad, what really annoys about him is how he always plays his socks out for his country but can’t seem to be arsed for Spurs.

This is the problem. Who is accountable? Who scouted this waste of space? Who sanctioned the purchase? Who agreed to pay him 180k a week? There is no accountability.

As for NDombele, the guy is a disgrace. He is a professional footballer. Minimum requirement is to give 100%. I am sick of seeing him ambling about. I don’t think he even broke sweat on Wednesday night. His contract should be terminated. The guy is a fraud.

Well fair point. However, he is a wage thieving rat and our opinion of someone who works as a professional sportsman should be based on their character. He doesn’t have any, a talented waster…

I was at the game. This video doesn’t do the boos justice. They were quite loud and across the stadium. Ndombele is a disgrace.

All our better players are going to go to the World Cup absolutely burnt out.

Even now you can see Kane, Hojbjerg and Son are all struggling from too many games and not enough rest. Kane and Lucas having to come on to save the game is a disgrace.

At least they were trying and I thought Lo Celso looked better when Kane and Moura came on, probably because he suddenly had players who give a damn.

I thought Gil and Lo Celso were poor today too for what it is worth. Where was Alfie Devine? Isn’t it time we gave him a go?

This is a real problem for Spurs. I don’t like seeing any Spurs player getting booed but I do understand why people do it. N’dombele has been a real disappointment in terms of goals, assists, key passes and in particular his fitness levels.

However; he is not responsible for the amount of money Spurs pay him for his services or the transfer fee paid and it is these issues that look like keeping him at Spurs for a little while yet. This is a wound that should be continually poked by the Supporters Trust or anyone interested. Should they not keep asking the question regarding who identified and sanctioned the deals for these two jokers as well as Sessegnon & Clark?

Should Levy be held accountable and forfeit his annual bonus payments for a few years?

Spurs will not be able to give N’dombele away on the wages he is stealing from Spurs. Whose fault is that?

It’s a wonder he didn’t take the ball as well.
