The curse of not winning anything has finally been lifted, with Tottenham now being Europa League champions, and the tag Spursy must surely be abandoned now. Our thoughts are with Paddy Power at what must be a difficult time.
This result was a great vindication for Ange Postecoglou, who announced after the game that throwing the Premier League competition was all part of his cunning plan. Quite how head bean counter Daniel Levy will be feeling about the financials of that is another matter, but this week perhaps isn’t the time to have that conversation?!
Man United winning the toss and making Spurs switch sides… only for Cuti Romero to march the team straight into the Man United half anyway to do the huddle in front of the @SpursOfficial fans. Elite. pic.twitter.com/rmgeDyacqm

THFC’s Ben Haines made a great spot ahead of the game against Manchester United, noticing that, having won the toss, United decided that they would exercise their right to swap ends. As quick as a flash, Argentinian Cuti Romero decided to organise the huddle immediately, in front of the Spurs supporters.
This lightning move gave fans an immediate opportunity to let their voices count in backing the boys, before a ball was kicked.

Where do Spurs go from here?
It may take a while for the dust to settle, but the resounding mood is now one of renewed hope at the club. The question, as ever, is how Daniel Levy will respond. Rumours had been circulating that he was talking to numerous coaches to replace the Aussie, so the first question must be, is that still the plan?
We feel that a less fraught task, and one that would keep the fans onside, would be to let Ange start again next season, with a strict understanding that he’s not to ignore the Premier League.
Let us know, Daniel!
