Watch Bryan Gil’s best actions for Valencia vs Real Socieodad| Read the analysis

Heat map

Bryan Gill, now loaned back to Spanish side Valencia, had a mixed game, which perhaps reflects him adopting various positions, playing centre-forward, left-wing, and right-wing.

Passing accuracy

You can see from the boy’s passing accuracy, 14 successful passes in 102-minutes, isn’t exactly showstopping.

The through ball

That said, this pass was eye-catching.

The shot

The shot was got away nicely, but it wasn’t to be.

Perhaps if we look at this progressive run, we can see Conte’s concerns about the boy’s physical strength are validated. Which begs the question, who approved the signing in the first place, if he wasn’t even close to being Premier League ready?

Need to put a couple of Kgs a month of Whey Protein in his food. A very good player. Similar to David Silva

Anyone writing this boy off needs to give their head a wobble. He is a bit of a lightweight currently, but some lads develop that physicality later. Look at Bale compared to Rooney.

What he does have is outstanding technique and quick feet. Reminds me of a skinny Ginola. He’ll be some player in the coming years.

Paratici got stung big time in the deal for this boy.

This one smacks of brown paper bags all round. Weedy little twiglet for 25m + Lamela… that probably makes him our 2nd highest transfer of all time!

I just like the kid but if you compare the physicality of our 2 new boys it is chalk & cheese.

The bet is he’s a late developer physically. He does look like a kid in the mens league. Another loan next year after preseason with Conte plus slowly bulk him up 10 or 12lbs I’d say we’ve a good footballer. He’d still only be 22 then.

Maybe Steve ‘I hate January’ Hitchen? I found the ITK claims that he had a separate budget hard farcical at best! Interesting that he ‘resigned’ after what Conte said on Friday..
