Tottenham’s Under-21s defeated Arsenal 2-1, with forward Lucas Moura scoring on his comeback from injury.
The Brazilian’s season has been hampered by injuries and has only made 11 appearances for the senior team this season, totaling 266 minutes of playing time.
He has now returned and made an immediate impact for the Under-21s during their win against north London rivals.
Moura equalised for Spurs in the Premier League 2 Division 1 after Amario Cozier-Duberry opened the scoring for Arsenal.
Nile John who replaced Moura at the break came on to score the second goal at the hour mark which ended up being the winning goal for Tottenham.
It was Moura’s first appearance for the club this season, as he has yet to score or assist for the senior side this season.
