Video Evidence: The Dribbling Magic Of Tanguy Ndombele

By The Boy -

Tanguy Ndombele’s movement is a little unorthodox, but when he gets himself involved he’s virtually unplayable. Tottenham got 78-minutes out of the boy yesterday, which is the longest stint we’ve seen since a Carabao Cup game against Chelsea back in September.

The Frenchman had another useful game, winning 6 offensive duels and achieved 5 touches in the Leeds penalty box. The missing ingredient at Tottenham is in the area of constructing attacks, which explains how Harry Kane has managed to tweak his game without stepping on anyone’s toes. Mourinho needs more from Tanguy and more from Lo Celso.

Just answering a comment…..of someone who comes specifically to me to dig me out. Admittedly I could have said it all in one but….anyway, it’s a little creepy.

I think you misunderstood the quick response thing. It wasn’t suggesting you had nothing better to do.

Actually I didn’t say those things exactly. VAR is being used for corruption. I’ve said nothing about bigger teams. I fancy Jose to win the title and there’s been clear bias so far. Yes I believe the CL is fixed. You don’t. Who cares??
In any case these are other subjects to what I put up on this thread which you seem to lump in with anything else I’ve ever said.

Look what the cat dragged in? Sound familiar? Didn’t insult me then. You come to my comment specifically….nowhere else. So what do you expect?

Why are you so concerned about my comments? I seen you turn up on just mine.. Why have you got a log of comments? I was talking about the above comments not match fixing. It’s bizarre.

Just to be clear….conspiracy theories:
Premier league is fixed for “box office Jose”
UEFA fix the champions league
VAR is a tool to fix matches for bigger teams.
All your own words at various points in the past and no doubt the future.
Personal insults? You called me a sap and told me to go and pick up my £7 an hour. I did not insult you, unless you feel saying you back conspiracy theories is a personal insult.
Oh and quick response? You responded in a third of the time I did.
Fascinating how you divert attention from your actions by accusing others of the same thing, classic tactics of a conspira……oh hang on I’m at it again aren’t I?
Thanks for the chat, it’s been illuminating.

Wow. Quick. Tells me everything. Zzzzzzz conspiracy theory yada yada. Explain anything there that I said that’s false. Do tell me about all the British players dead or in hospital…you’re on the clock.

Predictable response. Conspiracy theories are your patter sweetheart, I wouldn’t dream of taking the only thing you have.

And who are you comment monitor? There’s nothing baseless about it. There’s been NO hospitalization or death of British footballers in any case. That’s fact. PCR tests are not fit for purpose. A portuguese court has ruled that. The fella who invented the test explains that. Even the WHO have had to state such. Your tired old “conspiracy theory” patter doesn’t wash anymore….and you talk about predictable hahaha.sap. Take your 7 quid an hour and nick off.

For the club’s sake I hope you are right but I’m just not seeing it. The best requires heart and drive and I think he’s a snowflake as well.

He’s only 23. He’s gonna be the best in the world one day. I can’t rate him highly enough. Top top player. Magical

Can’t see it. Doesn’t have Moussa’s physical prowess and just slows the game down when we are breaking away. Thought he was unfit but maybe he’s just not cut out for the pace of the PL.

His close control and ability to wriggle out of a tight spot are excellent but he doesn’t cut it as a playmaker for me. As has been pointed out he plays with his head down a lot and doesn’t seem to link well with the others. To compare with De Bruyne, he’s nowhere near. Doesn’t seem to have the physical attributes to even get up and down the pitch. Expected way more from a record signing.

Well said. Politicised and divisive. It won’t stop until we stop “consenting” and living in fear.
People should do their own research – all valid and verified information is available. Apply critical independent thought and discernment. See with our own eyes.

IMO Mousa Dembele was better!

Nothing was mentioned by BT or MOTD about his going off in an apparent huff and straight down the tunnel. He didn’t look happy at being hooked, although i understand Jose has told the players to go straight to the showers if they’re cold.I don’t know the truth of this.
He showed a lot of good stuff yesterday, but SpursGoliath makes an interesting point that his movements often look like he is the only one who knows what his intention is when he doesn’t get his head up.

He sometimes seems to be ‘doing his own thing’ a bit too much – a little too ‘head down and everyone’s left dizzy’ but the success of the end product is a lottery.

From those clips it looks like what needs to happen is he has to play long enough in the side that others get on his wavelength and it all gets instinctive – and vice versa to some extent.

Another match off due to the farce of PCR tests. There’s a trend emerging of people blaming players for being “selfish” , for pities sake what are people like now?? This nonsense has really highlighed the stupidity of some of this country. They’re conducting it like a orchestra, turning everyone against each other. These players have done nothing wrong, these are false positives….if anyone is sick, which I doubt, it’s seasonal sniffles. There’s no hospitalisations or deaths in football. This doesn’t end until it’s stopped, they’re already speaking about cancelling or delaying A levels in the summer. That’s the SUMMER. It will go on and on and on while we consent. 2 weeks to flatten the curve. China are back to normal. We are China on steroids.

Unless I have missed the plot I simply don’t understand all the hype surrounding this player. Yes whilst he has got more twists and turns than an Agatha Christie murder mystery anybody think he is Johan Cryuff?!! IMO book the jury is very much out on Ndomble until the end of the season!!
