Video Evidence: Pierluigi Gollini Screaming At Christian Romero Being Caught Out Of Position

By The Boy -

I like my goal-keepers very vocal, and this clip I take as a positive indicator of Gollini’s demeanour. Ironically, I always felt Hugo was too quiet and Joe to be plenty loud, just not reliable enough. Hopefully, we’ve found a happy medium with our back boy who’s on loan from Atalanta.

These clips are from when Genoa lost 3:4 at home to Atalanta
in Serie A, in May this year. During the 20/21 season, Pierluigi made 25 league appearances for Atalanta, was only substituted once, and on seven of those occasions, came on from the bench.

What is the difference. Seriously, do you guys really watch Sanchez. He never know where his man is most times, he thinks he can out run every forward. He is no Toby, yet he refuses to release the ball playing out the back. Dier prone to a mistake, just a matter of when. Sanchez is one horrible football player.

Good question. I would keep Sanchez, because I’ve simply had it with Dier, his finger-pointing and tough guy routines. He’s irredeemable in my eyes.

Sanchez has some strong aspects that come to the fore usually when he plays for Colombia, but he makes so many rookie mistakes for us, it defies belief. Maybe if he had a decent left-sided leader CB next to him, it could work?

Then again, Poch and Jose didn’t coach him to his best, so I’m still skeptical whether it can be done at all. Still, I would give him another season to show his value.

Sanchez, at least he has the odd good game.

Hahaha fair enough.
For me, I would take Sanchez as I think his problems are less to do with footballing ability and Nuno the Nice Guy might get it out of him.
But yeah, let’s hope we grab that Japanese guy as well – seems to have gone quiet

I really cannot choose.

Can’t see us signing Romero for this money and two others. And should not start season with Rodon, Romero and Tanganga as only options.
Who would you prefer? Sanchez or Dier?

If the plan is to keep Dier and Sanchez around, Gollini is up against it from the start. Peak Buffon wouldn’t keep a clean sheet playing behind those two.

Clearly a case of Romero not being match fit 🙂

Actually Romero looks good enough to play in midfield going on cups I’ve seen.

Levy better put his skates on before a big club snaps him up
