This was a masterclass from Mourinho, and anyone seeking to translate this flimflam into something that makes any sense whatsoever will only be kidding themselves and only be kidding you.
Dele Alli is training well, we are told, but due to the obvious restrictions of Hotspur Way, our head coach can’t add anything further. The truth my friends is staring us in the face and as this place suggested some while ago, the boy is toast.
There are lots of very talented players in Europe’s top leagues who play in Dele’s position. Unfortunately for Dele they appear to work harder, are more tactically aware and give more to their teams than Dele has given us over the past 2-3 seasons. Talent without being accompanied by really hard graft and sound footballing nous ends up being wasted talent. In Jose’s teams talent, footballing intelligence and really hard graft are the minimum entry requirement. Dele is indeed cooked bread at Spurs and I don’t really know where he goes from here. PSG? Maybe but it sounds strange to me.
There isn’t.
Why does there have to be something wrong with it?
And what’s wrong with that then?
No idea why he bothers bringing him on against Liverpool in that case.
Unless it’s just cynical a ploy to try and pretend to any suitors in Jan that he’s actually still valued by the manager so they’ll have to cough up?
