Video Evidence: Hugo Lloris Makes Two Stunning Saves Against Bosnia-Herzegovina

By The Boy -

Pictures c\o Sky Sports

Our captain was in action last night for France in a World Cup qualifier against Bosnia-Herzegovina and here we have two top-notch saves

Hugo’s passing for France was on point last night at 91% which is marginally better than his mean average for Spurs.

The win came courtesy of the Barcelona star Antoine Griezmann, whose goal won the game and put France top of the Group D pops – with 7 points from the 3 games they’ve played

Sums it up for me, Jose WAS meant the freshening up rather than the catalyst.

Secondly I would question how many players we actually Pochettino’s. Sure he worked with them and got them playing well but ‘his’ players?

Verts, Lamela, Walker, Rose, Winks, Kane, Loris and Dembele were all at the club already I believe. I think he was involved in Toby, Son, Wanyama who were all more than decent choices but no manager gets to have a major refit at Spurs. Most managers are expected to work chiefly with what they have these days.

The days of the petrodollar teams of the mid noughties are long gone, that was Jose’s heyday.

Have you been in coma since we’ve moved into the new lane? The 20 years you’re talking about was at the old broke place.

He hasn’t in 20 years at the old lane you mean. Record debt for a sh####le we didn’t need? We did need it. The debt is minor over 25 years. Billions apon billions gonna pass through the club in that time. Why won’t spurs benefit from any additional revenue? Coz you think Joe is nicking it all😂

The first one yeah he should be catching and holding on to that. Better safe than sorry though if he wasn’t comfortable in the moment…. The second save was decent though at point blank range he’s up there with the worlds best at stopping those, and one on ones at close range he’s pulled out a few worldies for us.

The Bundisliga is only a two or three horse race though usually. Bayern are always favorites. Similar to Ligue one and PSG being clear favourites. Bayern and PSG are top level.. Not their leagues.

Some predicted Hart would force Maureen out? Who on earth are these people you’re talking to? Apologists? He dropped him for Zagreb so hardly rates him highly. Hart was signed because we needed English…. A cult is an absurd comment to make.. Fans of Maureen makes sense considering all he’s achieved.. Its the Botchites that seem cult like.. Adoring, praising, obsessing and loving a guy who couldn’t win a dime bar… All hail Botch and his losers medals..

Nonsense. Jose has developed loads of players.. And Levy said after the stadium was built that he would now be concentrating on improving the squad and winning titles.. After Tanguy and Gio signed they couldn’t even play.. We had to get a new manager in, we got one of the best… The stadium is built now there will be no more neglect… To suggest buying a manager ‘instead of’ new players makes no sense at all. Any new manager needs time to bring in his own players… As well as paying the ex manager off, this is no way a cheaper option to take.

There’s no way Levy will spend on a Jose team. He needs the finished product and Levy never buys those. Believe Jose was appointed as a cheaper option than refreshing the squad which has been criminally neglected.

He’s doing ok considering this ain’t his team. I’ll say it again “once our backs locked off we’ll be dangerous. José just needs HIS team. We’ll be dangerous next season man. I really fancy us in the cup. We’ll finish top four too. Not a bad first full season for José

I am one that thinks the football issues are endemic at the club because of the owners. However, a lot of people seem to be scrapping about looking for excuses for the way we’ve been playing under Jose. Many of which are actually fairly irrelevant to what’s going on.

The team that started the NLD was not a team of wasters, Winks, Dier and Dele were nowhere to be seen. Sure they played in Zagreb but what about against the Gooners?

Blanket excuses need to be blanket themes, trotting out the same four players in s squad of 30 plus players as some kind of disease spoiling it for the management isn’t rational…

Another one thrown under the bus this season (some even predicted that Hart might force him out!) by some of the Jose’ apologists, which is kind of stupid because Jose rates him highly. Then again, it is a cult after all… 🤔

Lloris is the least of our worries as more worryingly is whether or not both Kane and Son will be in the ranks?

Lloris did well, and the second save was brilliant. Shame he’s 34 – how time flies, eh? I remember him being eased in and rotating with Friedel under AVB…

OT alert:
In the meantime, the “racism row” of Rangers vs Slavia rumbles on. In the latest news, Michael Stewart said “I’m slightly apprehensive and uneasy with proceeding ahead and concluding before we know what conclusion UEFA have come to.” – so basically “let’s not manhunt when no conclusions have been made” – and there have been over a 1000 complaints to the BBC, Rio Ferdinand chiming in with a patronising “Educate yourself, this is why people suffer in silence”.

Kamara was apparently “extremely shaken and distraught”, which curiously didn’t stop him from premeditating an assault on Kudela inside the stadium…

Bale elbowed Kudela with no punishment – I wonder what will happen when Slavia go to Arsenal next week? A pack of Rangers fans chased down a Celtic fan and slashed his throat with a machete recently…hmm.

Celtic wouldn’t pay Hibernian three million for him, trying the old, big club intimidating smaller club thing and Villa nipped in and snapped him up.

He’s probably worth thirty million now. Same as Grealish if we’d given Villa twenty million we’d have a fifty million player on our hands. Penny wise and pound foolish.

2 more goals from John McGinn for Scotland, (v Faroes but ..)good finish and a powerfull header to follow up the overhead kick. The lads got a bit of everything and how we are still not interested in getting these type of quality players is a joke. I’d av snapped him up when Villa were in the champ for about 5 mill…better than anything in our midfield.

We don’t need a replacement. We need to keep him. He’s been in fine form since Mourinho took over. Some keepers can go on forever. He might have 4 or 5 seasons left in him.
