Video Evidence: Does This Look Like A Player From A ‘Lost Dressing Room’ To You?

By The Boy -

Serge Aurier is a footballer who comes with a rap sheet. Personally, I like Spurs players to have a little edge to them, this is an English football club, not a flower pressing class, or a drop-in center for budding watercolour artists. The Ivorian has undoubtedly caused a few eyes to roll since his arrival in N17, but his heart is in the right place, and he does fight for his teammates.

In this clip, it’s a brief moment, but one that crucially keeps the play alive. Is this a player from a dressing room that Mourinho has lost? No, of course, it isn’t.

For sure. I would pick him for the trenches next to me every time… Serge the soldier.

He’s not a complete player, if he doesn’t have to mark someone good then he offers good balance on the right. He needs to be used the right way to get the best out of him…

Players need to earn respect and he has generally this season. The previous two seasons he was fairly abysmal let’s face it. Redemption though is a wonderful thing…

Seems so many made up stories around Jose and the squad at present. Jose is different at Spurs, maybe not night and day differences but he is operating differently but still demanding and he is being personal with players he doesn’t want. Levy actually will be enjoying having Jose at the club this way.

The telling moment yesterday, when coming off, shock horror, Jose put his arm around Aurier.

….is Jose softening up?

I think Gladys must have been sacked mate! So there is no dinner lady to ask.

Especially after the recent murder of his poor brother, he’s been doing well.. Aurier the warrior. Bonzo managed to cut out his bonzo moments. Serge has improved so I’m hoping he can too.

Disagree, he’s just not very good. His decision making is poor. His touch and vision are no better than that of a district level skool boy.

Auriers problem is in his own head. He has ability, and fight he just needs to get his Mindset put in order.

Aurier, along with Dier, Sanchez, Davies, Winks and Sissoko make my heart sink when announced on the team sheet.

They maybe, as in Winks case Spurs through and through. But ! Simple fact is none of them are very good footballers and if truth be told should be nowhere near our football club.
